However I started the thread here and I wanted to share with the "painting & modeling" crew the latest videos of the working chainsword I'm building.
I promiss I will not keep two posts running on this stuff Mods, this is a 1 off post.

Anyway....don't mind the eletrical tape.
This is still very much in the "make it work" stage of this build.

I'm getting closer to being able to paint/finish it, but there is so, so much more to do!... and time is running out gamesday aprocheth!

Now all we need to do is make one from real metal materials, and see if it really is a non killing weapon. I laugh at people who think it wont kill someone.

Back when I worked in the machining trade I thought about making a full sized Khorne chain axe with chainsaw blade and a cordless drill for a drive motor... But I spent too much money on silly hobbies to afford that

Cordless drill, hmmm? Interesting. When I was in Iraq we attached a small battery powered chainsaw to my M-4 by welding a Piccatiny Rail Grabber to it, but it added about an extra 15lbs so it was completely impractical, but still awesome.
I will make a real chainsword. Of course, I couldn't bring it to a Games Day...

I still wonder how a person can carry what is really just a chainsaw with no effort whatsoever.

So IMO, chainswords seem like two-handed weapons. Which would make chain-axes more useable.
