Greetings everyone , iam new to dakka dakka and only just recently got back into 40k . Any gamers in n.yorkshire england ? anyone know of any clubs or ways i can get a gentle re-entery to the game with some tutorial/practise games ? Any suggestions would be really cool and v.helpful in getting me back into the swing of things !!!

Inside your mind, corrupting the pathways

Head down to your local GW, they will have tutorial games, and you can probably pick up a few games with the locals too.

They will have late opening nights and events too.

I've found it quite hard to find places near where I live to play games, but they are out there.

I don't know how old you are, but some schools and virtually all universities will have games clubs. I know there was at least one member of the university wargaming club in Sheffield who was not a student. Send them an email and see what happens.
