I know a bunch of you are gonna flame me for asking, you arew all going to say "go read the rulebook!" if you are one of those, carry on, and go to another thread please.
Orks can have a lot of troop choices depending on which characters you use. Troops are required to capture objectives. Which if any of these "modified troops" can capture objectives?
I know Deffdreads cannot, since they are vehicles.
What about:
Warbikers
Nobs
Meganobs
I am pretty sure warbikers can't, but both nobs and meganobs are infantry so they should be able to, right? I was told no during the last game I played at the FNGS, I said yes and we rolled a d6 to decide ending with no, so rather then capture points i just slaughtered my opponent, hehe, winner by attrition Can anyone just clarify that for me? Thanks!

All of them can, so long as they are Troops on the FoC chart.

The only requirements to score are:
1) You are Troops
2) You arent a vehicle or a swarm.
(plus other exceptions, like fenrisian wolves)
So all of your choices would score.

Deff Dreads can be troops and vehicles, they can't score? Is there then a point to them being troops other than shuffling around FoC?

You can take more of them, and it frees up more specialized FOC slots.

This for sure. That would allow you to have 2 dreds and 9 kans if you wanted. That would be pretty badass IMO

Dreadbash is a fun list .... especially now that every killa kan you assemble doesnt require 10 minutes of sawing that metal lip off so it slots together ... ( i have 7 of the old kans )
But yea if its troops and not vehicle or swarm or things like black rage fenrisian wolves etc then it scores.
