Here's my warboss which I should have posted a while ago, but didn't get around to it. I wanted my boss's warbike to be a Segway. I searched to see if anyone else had thought of this and of course some have, but they were all pretty bad renditions, and I knew I could do better. I cut a trukk tire in half, put some plastic and a half a pencil between, cut some sprue and a bike handlebars and put a bike skull and gun and exhaust together, and tadaa a segway! Add a jaunty tilt as if in motion, put together a warboss and extend AoBR PK cable, and all done! I'm really pleased with how he turned out, he really pops on the battlefield, especially on the 40mm base!

I posted this to try and get encouragement to start working on my army again after I finished assembling and converting and it's just paint left. Paint is so tedius but important!

The segway was really easy to make and doesn't have master crafted details by any means, yet it's always the most popular thing at the gaming shop. Just shows that a good idea with decent execution can trump a decent idea with expert execution (like a master paint job).

I think the important part about its construction is the tilt of the bike parts, and then the tilt of the bike on the stand. It makes it look like it's moving so fast he can't even keep it on two wheels, and that it might fall apart at any moment, yet looks very capable, making it just right as far as Orkiness.

By the way his name is Boss Nazgob, which means shiny-yelly, because he has a cybork implant skorcha in his mouf! I'll have to put a tank on his back with a hose leading into his neck or something, attached magnetically so I can choose whether or not to give him a kombi-skorcha..

I imagine Nazgob's segway will be followed by a trail of even more smoke than dust as he pulls ahead of his battlewagons and trukks and leads his band into WAAAAAGH!!!

I love this idea. The conversion is excellent, I like how you gave it the impression of movement with the tilt. That would make or break a conversion like this IMO.
