Hi guys
Newfag here just here to show my Ork models and keep showing them since this is a blog
Keep in mind these are my first models since I did 1:72 WWII models with my dad like 11 years ago
I do not play the game so no need to ask how I plan on counting my converted models because I aint got a clue


Ok picture time:

This is my Ghazz model I got from a friend he painted it already, I converted the arm and threw in a few specs of yellow.

Pardon the bad quality I'll make some better pictures when I have the time.
I also have some WIP pics and from other sides just ask is you wanna see them

Next up my Deff Dread with CFF. It was obviously inspired by the Apocalypse Dred mob datasheet. I like the mek sticking out.

Of this model I also have a few WIP pics and other sides if you guys are interested.

This is my last bigger model a looted Dread Naught. I had the idea for the claw/fist CCW ever since I started out.

Again multiple sides but I didn't want to flood with pics. No WIP pics tho because I blasted this thing in like 2 days

This is a little idea I had, a mob of boys to eager to go to battle. They run into battle and therefor get shot a lot and thus have bionic lims and such.
as you can see I tried to get a running pose some are more convincing then others.

Damn I noticed I didn't include 2 more boys o well I'll make more pics later.

I wanted to break the stupid pose of the bigshoota boy but couldn't figure out what to do with the other arm then I saw the spare Dread Naught hand and the rest is a hazey memory of insane meking

Last is my grotbomb I just wanted to make one since I had the grot head from the warbiker set and because I plan on making something that could use a few grotbombs.

Yes the yellow on my models is kinda bad and that is because yellow doesn't cover nicely even with a foundation...:(

This is what I have as of now but I plan on a lot more stuff to come.
I plan on looting an ironclad, get a few killa kanz, another Deff Dread would be nice as well

I also have some more ambitious plans for which I am now working on my conversion skills namely
a Meganobz mob in which every nob was inspired by a marvel superhero.
there will be Thor, Captain America, Ironman, Wolverine, Hulk( don't have as much written down for that one as for the others) and Deadpool because I like him

My other Idea involves an AT-AT and some giant mechanical spider-legs...

I also have a Victor K MK2 1:72 model lying around maybe my orks will find it and have there way with it

Really like the Mek Dread. The looted SM one needs another pair of weapons to make it WYSIWYG. Yellow I always finds works better on a Tan basecoat. Washes would also help I prefer Brown Ink and a Rust wash for Orky metal.

very very impressed. only things i would say is that your yellow is really bright so dull it down a bit, and that your orks are clean and new.
they look awesome and i love your interpritation of the dread form the dread mob data sheet (spot on conversion) but they are all so clean and un battle damaged. i know they are bad moons and badmoons are the richest clan so they might have there vehicles cleaned a lot. but still no battle damage? anyway i really like what you have so far and cant wait to see what other stuff you have planned or get done
(and btw i would'nt have known you wern'nt english if you had'nt have typed it )

Love the gunz on your dread. Your running orks are pretty sweet also. Really nice conversions so far.

Yes I am planning on washes and obviously some kind of grass on the bases. Like I said I'm not using em for battle because The whole WYSIWYG limits me with my conversions you know. Anyway the peeps in my local gamestore would probebly don't really mind.

Tnx a bunch I will use a wash but I do like the Ultimate bright yellow. Battle damage is probably something for later I'm not a great painter so I don't really know how and don't really mind it as off now I will be drilling out the barrels. but later
YEA I'm really psyched I started on the airplane (wich will be a fighta bomber) and I heard that my AT-AT will be coming in the mail tomorrow. Yes!

I would mention washes but it has already been said, (I only have Thraka Green and Devlan Mud, no need for anything else)

Hahaha, I already have Thraka Green but I wanna test the way to do it first but thats for later
Meganobz are on my list but I'm gonna have my handsfull on the Airplane and my AT-AT but don't worry it'll be something I'll do in the meantime.

So I started on my plane/fighta/bomba. and it's coming along nicely I think.
I started out with the normal plane:

(the boy is there for scale ofc.)
then I slapped on some barrels for extra fuel:

Then I started out putting the wings in a different position and adding some dakka.

ofc there will be more dakka and bombs and rockets don't you worry.
then I didnt really feel like doing much more so I started putting some plates on there:



In the tail there will be one or two grots hanging out shooting at stuff that lives

like so. The right arm will get a gun but I dont own one I'll probably buy a grotmob sooner or later.
I attached the hydraulics differently:

I can't yet put the two halves together because I'll have to finish the cockpit first and I do wanna do that good sooooo.

I got some work done on my plane but my AT-AT didn't come in the mail today altough it should have been.... Hopefully monday. I got me some Gretchin so I could have some fun with my plane

Lastly this wil be the chair my pilot will be siting in, it doesn't look that good but there won't be a lot visible so I tolerate it.


I'll have to finish the cockpit next and I'm thinking about making a hatch in the main compartment with a BIGBOMB and so you can look inside maybe a opening in the top aswell but I'm not certain if that would look good.
Also having alot (I mean A LOT) of orks and grots on the plane you know riding it to the next battle site, just chillin on the wings pretty cewl

I GOT MY AT-AT YEAS, like 4 days later than it should be , buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut I don't care I have it
I'll be going to work on it tomorrow a little after and during work
I'll probably get the body get together and thinking about how I'm gonna do the legs. any ideas.
I'll have some pics up tomorrow aswell, didn't get any work done today and yesterday very little.

I think the yellow looks great for a few reasons..
-Its fairly smooth
-There orks, its not going to be perfect
-You manage to keep the edges looking crisp and clean

A mek boy is better than a shoota anyway for a model of that awesomness Can't wait to see some pictures of the AT-AT

also thanks I do see it the same way orks do not give a sh*t about painting something really nice they want the colour to be visible.

Like I said I got my AT-AT and finaly got some time on it today.... I have been very busy helping my dad with a big cleanup in the house so I didn't get much time in the evenings.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAANYWAY picture time!!!

This is how it looks in the box, ignore the easykit sign thats total bull, it took me a whopping half hour the first time I put it together (I have the exact same model but it's part my dad's so I couldn't cut that one up.


This is more or less how it looks. Its without the guns on the head though. The things down there are the part were the legs attach and go down but I plan on positioning them like this so I can attach the legs upward.


The legs would point upward kinda like this:

although they will be longer but I have no idea how to extend em. I'm kinda leaning towards 2 I-beams and triangles between em then just smack on plasticard plates and maybe rhino and other tank doors but that still would look kinda flimsey I think. If you have a fresh idea it would be greatly apriciated.

In this picture you can see the beginning to the somestacks this thing will inevitably need:

The guns underneath the head kinda looked like Custem Mega Blasters to me so I'm making em look more like that:

The pink stuff is a kind of green stuff, but my dad has it in his workshop so it's Hella free for me The sticks on the left are the thingummies that go in front of the barrel on the CMB and the balls will be the copper balls on the bottem ya know.


On another note I got the first part of my cockpit done

I just love that face it's so calm for an ork lovely change don't you think. Anyway he'll be pushing a button probably for dropping a bomb or firing a rocket you deside, just like the way he doesn't really care to look at were he's going

and looks really cool, when i saw what you were doing with the legs i thought you were going to keep them and just have them coming over the top and down again like a insect or spider. i am also liking this pannel idea though, but dont use marine doors, get some plasticard sheets and chop em into pannels, its a lot cheaper and looks just as good although maybe add doords over the top. anyway its looking really good.

Well yea ofc I'm not gonna board it up completly with marine doors I'm not that rich unfortunately but I'm gonna use em to break up the deatailless plasticard
It will be getting eight legs in the end I'm not sure yet how 'm gonna attach the other legs they'll probably come out of the body in some way.

I didn't get a lot done because I'm busy but hopefully people will still tune in.
So I got some more done on the smokestacks for the AT-AT, I'll spare you the wip pics cause they're pretty much done except for the cables attaching them together but I can't put that on yet because I'll probably need to get on the inside to attach the middle legs.

one blownout smokestack (probably some mischievous Git with a Tater) and one kinde like a lamp.... It'll probably look better after paint

The elektric gubbinz have been added to the head for the Custom SUPA blasta's


I found a guitar cord thingie I'll add to the right one as I feel it lags a bit detail. also ofc there will be electric wire running to the inside.

on the airplane I build 2 rockets

since the picture was taken I added the little connection sheets for the wings you know what I'm saying right?

ok that is all for my to busey weekend maybe I get to do some thing tonight but I dont know.

I haven't got any pictures for ya today. I've been working on my AT-AT mainly the last few days.
I figured out how I'm gonna put the middle legs on the model, I'm gonna use the part were in the real model the feet hang from. Can't really explain it I'll see if I can tag it on there with a little drop of glue tomorrow.
The head has been spraypainted yellow and the Custom SUPA Blasta bitz on the head have been painted as well. I can't really do anything more on the head before I get the defilerclaws I want to use as the grabber teeth spiders have. So I'll get that tomorrow as well. If I get the time I'll start to saw up the leg pieces and start fabricating longer legs.

some ideas I have I would really like some feedback on:
I kinda want to give it a chainsaw kinda thing like stompas have, maybe even 2 of those coming from the legs so it would crawl on 6 legs instead of 8. the 2 front legs would make it look offbalance maybe the 2 behind that (I realize this is a little vague, with pictures of the tagged legs this'll probably make more sense)
maybe a turret on the back "hump" I could use the difiler turret for that?

The Defiler turret or the one from the ork battle wagon I think would work to.

As for the sawblades. Maybe as teeth or a lower jaw on the head of the AT-AT. Not sure if this will help ya but good luck.

The yellow is to bright imho, but is painted well never the less.

YEA I'm going to use the defiler turret, it's just screaming Flakka Dakka Gun to me so thats what it's gonna be
I'm not gonna do the sawblades on the feets and as for on the head I don't think so because the head will be to busy it already has guns and will have the defiler claws.

Picture TIME

so this is how the AT-AT was looking yesterday morning before I got a whole day to work on it

as you can see I taged on the middle legs so you guys can see were they should come. I'll make them inbedded in the AT-AT itself kinda thinking about how to do that but I'll figure it out


here I started the leg with plasticcard beams and a weel I looted of an ugly jeep toy

also made the difiler barrel longer
this is how it looks now I really like it. but after I finished it I noticed that I didn't have enough beam left to do another leg. So I put on some plasticcard sheets

The difiler turret with those holes in the barrel


I also painted the first 2 rockets for the plane:

so Yea I'm not gonna promise anything but I do hope to finish another leg next week. but I need more plastic.
