I keep my Crimson Fists around so I can buy and paint all the cool SM stuff I like. I have liked the Crimson Fist paint scheme ever since the Rouge Trader times and have only in the last few years figured out how to get the blue right and make them look different from Ultramarines with red hands.

So to start off I did some conversions to make up an honor guard for Kantor

then here is a shot of these guys about half way through painting.

I think this picture best captures the dark blue color of the armor.

These next ones are my collection of terminators. the blues came out less dark here due to the flash it is kinda weird because these pictures were taken at the same time as the previous one.

My next project is to add in the Space Hulk Terminators after striping them of all their Blood Angel stuff.

Looking good, although if your flash is causing problems when taking photos, I find that covering 2/3 of the bulb with your finger really reduces the glare while still letting light through.

Well Black Templars and Crimson Fists do come from the same parent chapter so I am ok with that.

Great stuff here siege, how many Black reach did you get

There seem to be a fair few AoBR termies kicking it in your army.

Loving the tones on the blue, would be great to see a few close ups of the honour guard as well.

I have 2 Black reach kits, well just the space marine parts I sold the orcs off to a friend. I am working on the Space Hulk Terminators trimming off all the blood drops and preparing them for induction into the Crimson Fists.

I like Dreadnoughts nuf said.

The whole gang

My first dreadnought from when they came out in plastic for the first time.

Venerable dreadnought, I really like this model.

This guy used to be an Iron Warriors dreadnought then I saved him I really like the Forge World arms on this guy very menacing.

One of my 2 Black Reach Dreadnoughts. I really thought I took a picture of the other one but I don't know where it went.

I want to get the new plastic Venerable Dreadnought and maybe the Ironclad but then do I really need another dreadnought.

Armt should be nice when youve done. I like crimbo fists they can be really simple or really nice and still look good in game.

PS you got nearly as many dreads as me I got 4 painted and 6 left to paint

Mixing and matching with the sons of dorn, not a bad idea. Especially like those dreads, the customization gives me some ideas.

Looking good, some detailing on the cloth would go a long way though. Something like the parallel lines that used to denote a librarian's rank in 2nd ed.

How are you going to base them by the way?

the blue on some of the dreadnoughts is a bit too ultramarine -ish imo( no offense meant). The vulnerable one is perfect though.

I know what you mean Scrazza it looks more like it should have been used for highlights instead. Anyway YOU CAN'T HAVE TOO MANY DREADNOUGHTS. Sorry I had to get that out my system.

Since we have yet to get an answer as to why the Devilfish was on the floor, I'll take a different approach.

Why was the guy walking on the gaming table?

More detail , Highlghting needed ( U might wanna do UM blue for the highlights) and other than that it looks really good.
