So I know some of you are complete loons in regards to magnetizing -everything-.
So I come to you with a quandry and some questions so that I can magnetize this: http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Warhammer-40000/Space_Marines/Space-Marine-Dreadnoughts/DARK-ANGELS-VENERABLE-DREADNOUGHT.html

The weapon arms have holes in them to mate up with a peg from the body, the same as other Dreads. It's no problem to saw off the peg and replace it with a magnetic strip, if need be.

So, my question for you all is:
How would you magnetic loons go about doing this?

You could just glue a washer to the body and fill the hole with a good size magnet or put 2 magnets on the arm around the hole.

Find a magnet of about the right diameter and insert it into the hole. Trim back the "peg" a bit and add a magnet on the end.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

I hadn't thought of the washer, actually. It'd work well I think if I could find a magnet that would just barely jut out of the hole on the weapon and sawed off the peg allowing them to effectively 'mate'.

I forgot to add that this is the site that I originally found and was looking through for magnets:

Any suggestions?

Washer that fits around the mounting pin.
Two small (2-3mm) inset into the arms - opposite points around the 'ring' where the washer mates up.

Two magnets still allow rotation but hold it firmly. I use this method on my old METAL sm dreadnoughts (the 2nd ed ones).

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

I magnetize a lot, except for the dreadnought arms. By themselves they're snug enough to not fall off. Except for the FW venerable one, but 4 layers of superglue make the body peg thick enough for the weapon arms to fit nicely.
