Next time, check the GW FAQ first:

Q. Are hotshot lasguns considered lasguns for
‘First Rank Fire, Second Rank Fire?’
A. No. Whilst lasguns are robust weapons ideally
suited for firing continuous volleys, hotshot
lasguns cannot sustain such a high rate of fire.

This is answered in the GW IG faq: The answer is no, as GW says hotshot lasguns cannot sustain such a high rate of fire.

A hot-shot lasgun is not a lasgun in the same way that a storm bolter is not a bolter.
