Can "First Rank FIRE! Second rank FIRE!" be used with Hot-Shot Lasguns?

A. No. Whilst lasguns are robust weapons ideally
suited for firing continuous volleys, hotshot
lasguns cannot sustain such a high rate of fire.

This is answered in the GW IG faq: The answer is no, as GW says hotshot lasguns cannot sustain such a high rate of fire.
