C and C welcome. I was trying to fit as many LR's as i could in, and then i remembered i liked defilers. so yes. make of it what you will. is it tournament worthy? is it fun worthy? will i get terribly destroyed by the loyalists/xenos?

Btw the H.Q.'s would be in 1 of the termie's raiders.

It's boring that's one thing.

CSM LR's are pretty lame.
The squads in them are lame too.

The zerkers are only 20 scoring models at 2500...and rhinos are not that hard to crack.
The Defilers are fun, but without the 'moster mash' they lose their initiative halfway through the map if they are advancing...if they are not advancing, well, they don't offer too much at a large model/low-medium AV.

It looks fun to roll with for one game at the very least.

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.

Certainly a interesting list. I would honestly drop the defilers as they're mediocre and go obliterators for ranged anti tank as it's something you do not have; at least with those land raiders delivering the payloads; they're not loyalist ones :(

First off, your point values for some of those units are incorrect. At a glance Kharn is not 160.

I agree with Mercer. Defilers are great at 1,500 points. At 2,500 points they become dilute. Basically, the heaviest hitting spam-worthy Chaos units all pretty much lie in the Heavy Support slots. Obliterators are a bit overcosted for spamming at 1,500 (3 x 75 = 225 x 3 = 675...nearly half of your army), but at 2,500 they become very very viable. And while 2 Defilers is probably better than 4 Obliterators, 9 Obliterators is certainly more useful to you than 3 Defilers.

And what's up with the minimum squad size mech? Are you trying to do something specific there? Or...

You generally want larger units of Berzerkers.

Rhino's aren't bad, at 2500, they are still only as breakable as you allow them to be targets. I just qualified at the ard boyz, during Game one, I lost 1 rhino (holding my 5 chosen). Game 2 (the victory point mission), I sacrificed 3 of them, but only lost a single transported unit (5 chosen, same unit btw). And the final mission, I lost a single rhino. At 2500, they are still only as breakable as you allow them to be targets.


Otherwise I totally agree with Sanctjud its a fun one game list, but 5 beserkers are somewhat inefficient, not big enough to crack a marine unit, and too small to withstand much firepower. With no plasma pistols, their utility is further limited to just objective holders. From what I see the entire army is designed to be expendable except the landraiders. And since I don't see any extra armor, you might not even get to deliver your terminators, which suffer the same deficiencies as the beserkers...

Karn is a good HQ btw.
