Sup guys and gals. I've been reading the dakka forums for awhile now and I've decided I might as well join the discussion. I've been into war gaming for a couple of years now, even though I've never played a game. It's difficult to find anyone who plays the game (40k or WHFB) in a rural community in Mississippi. I've got a ton of unpainted minis that I hope to eventually paint and maybe I'll even get an army together before I get distracted by a shiny new release or codex revision.

Welcome to dakka. Make sure you do a P&M blog when you start to work on your minis... I've found it very useful to get the feedback from the very beginning before I get too set in my ways and can still act on it.

@Alpharius. Currently I'm attending Mississippi State University in Starkville. Since I got interested in Warhammer four or five years ago I've met 3 other people who share my interest in the hobby. Wargaming in general is a rare hobby, but combine that with the living in the deep south and it becomes really rare to find fellow gamers.

When I do get around to working on my army I will be sure to keep you guys updated.
