Well looking over my Bloodangels Codex i came across another interesting fact.
There Termies Cant deepstrike, like Normal marines....
I know why Space wolves termies cant deepstrike ( there afraid of the warp)
But why cant Blood angels Termies deep Strike? any one knows why?

BA Terminators can Deep Strike. Though it doesn't say in unit description, it does for the Terminator Armour entry in equipment section.

If you can keep your head, while all about you are losing their's, then you have probably completely misunderstood the situation!

SW terminators can deep strike.

Nowhere are they forbidden from doing so.

it says they "prefere" not to.

it never says "They may not DS"

"It doesn't say I can't" is not a valid argument, On the other hand on other hand "It doesn't say I can so I can't" is. Nowhere does it say SW terminators CAN deep strike, therefore they can't.

unlike the BA codex where terminator armor explicitly states they can arrive via deepstrike on page 61 (i think, it's around there)

Did you read the SW Dex?

it has the same thing as the BA dex IIRC.

No. The Terminator Armour entry for SW lacks the "They may enter by deep strike as described on page 61 blah blah blah" clause.

All other Terminator entries or Terminator Armour entries have this clause. SW are not allowed to Deep Strike terminators because it does not say they can.

Yes, in fact I had them side-by-side when I wrote that post.

In fact, there is a note at the end of the TA description giving reasons WHY there isn't a Deep Strike rule.

Yes that is where his confusion stemmed from. It states they "Prefer" to fight with their feet on solid ground, so my guess is he reasoned that while they "prefer" not to they still use Teleportation. While this may be true fluff-wise, for game purposes & rules they may not.

Hopefully this should clarify things:

From this, all Terminators:

2+ Save
5+ Inv Save
Cannot embark Rhinos or Razorbacks. (This restriction is built into the Rhino and Razorback entries for the Black Templars)
Otherwise count as 2 models for transport. (This restriction is built into the Drop pod and Land Raider entries for the Black Templars)
Cannot sweeping advance.

Differences:

All can Deep Strike regardless of mission except for Space Wolf Terminators.
Blood Angels, Space Wolves and Space Marine Terminators all have the Relentless USR.
Dark Angels have rules equivalent to the Relentless USR.
Black Templars can only move and fire Heavy Weapons. They cannot assault after firing heavy weapons or rapid fire weapons.
Black Templars get +1 Attack as part of buying Terminator Armour via Terminator Honours.
Dark Angels have explicit weapon restrictions as part of buying Terminator Armour.
Space Wolves codex clarifies that units with a Terminator in cannot sweeping advance either.

Exactly. SW Terminators cannot Deep Strike unless they take a Drop Pod.

If you go back too page 88 or89 of the BA codex, under special rules , it lists all there special rules... they shall know no fear, combaT squad, red thrist
Now if you go to the standard marine codex and look under special rules , they say they can deepstrike in the listing. theyshall know no fear, combat squad , deepstrike

So do we go by the Big book about termie armour =or by the codexs if it not stated??

Where im thinking since they have deep striking land raiders, they have there termies ride in them or storm ravens for assault drops.

Erm, yes, you look in the Rulebook for Deep Strike, since that is where the Deep Strike rules are.

And yes, Termies can be inside Raiders or Ravens if they Deep Strike, the same way as Power Armoured Marines can.
