Just a question of general curiosity: has there been any word on the 5th edition codex?

As a Tau player, I'm VERY anxious to see it, though I do know that it definitely won't be for a little while at least.

Aren't all the armies being updated for 5th?

Yeah, that's funny. Except you're not really allowed to ask questions in News and Rumors, the board is for posting news and rumors, not asking for them.

If Tau were coming out there would be a thread about it. There isn't one, hence...no, one one knows anything.

Usually more of the former, but yes.

The best thing to do is probably just type things like 'new Tau Codex' or 'Tau Rumours' into the search bar.

People tend to get annoyed by threads asking for rumours. Think about it - do you imagine that loads of us know stuff about a whole lot of new Tau miniatures that are coming out, but are just not telling? I think you know how daft that sounds. If anyone knew anything then there would most definitely be a thread about it already.

Late next year would be my guess, there's certainly been absolutely no noise being made about Tau at the moment.

I hear that a group of magical girls will join forces with them. Sparkles et al. Also, markerlights will be betterer.

There's no word on a Tau Codex, except that it's in the works.
