First off I know this post has 2 army lists in it but I don't frrl that it needs to be in the list thread I am looking for advice on which to play and why..........

I have 3 vindicators, 6 more oblits, 1 more defiler, 3 more squads of noise marines, another squad of plague marines and sveral regular csm with all kinds of weaponry that I am not using. i can field 9 oblits or 3 vindicators or any combination in the heavy slot except for land raiders cause I don't like the chaos ones.

This about all the greenskin stuff I have....
Da Dok goes with the ard boyz and ghaz with the nobs, the other 19 and nob ride in the other wagon.

Been playin the CSM army for going on 3 years, really comfortable with it and know the weak spots and how to play accordingly. I recently got the orks to where they are.......I chose to play the greenskins at the prelims of ard boyz and scored 66 and got a ticket. I can't seem to decide on which to play for round 2..........Last time I played CSM both times and finishsed 5th in semis.

I am going in totally blind cause I have never been to the store I am playing the semis at.......but I know both armies and how to play them.

Thoughts? Advice on how you would approch it?

I don't like your ork list so much. I don't know enough about the chaos marines to comment.

Ghazghkull lets you take a nob unit as a troop choice; why aren't you using it? They could be a scoring unit. With a dedicated transport battlewagon. You could replace the 'Ard Boyz, since that's a wasted 4 points per model. And that would give you room for two units of 5 Lootas to add some fire support.

Eh, then again you've got battlewagons and no Big Mek. Take the dual lash.

the ard boz mob and the dok never got below 11 models plus the dok all day, that kinda seems worth the +4 points per dude...and FNP from the dok. I did have the nobs as troops for a while but ended up throwing in the grots and runtherd last minute instead and moved them to the elites slot. I do wish I had the KFF mek in there as I do have the model but really didn't need it much in round 1 and the wagons weathered a ton of fire all day, especially from SW(Loganwing) game 2 of the prelim.

The ard boyz actually preformed really well for me but I am not totally against taking them out but I did say that this is pretty much all the greenskins I got. I think I have 5 more deffkoptas with twin rokkits, another Battlewagon and a kff big mek, that is pretty much it though, oh and 1 deffdread!

I'd drop the foot boys like they were hot and make the nobz troops again giving them a BW DT.
And as always where's the KFF


The ork list is straddling two roles and what I see happening is a decent player with drop pods, or myeptic spores splitting your army in twain, popping a couple of transports that have rushed ahead etc.
