Session 1:

The acolytes have been given an urgent message from their Inquisitor to make haste to the hive planet of Haddokk on the edges of the Calixus Sector. The planet has been invaded by a small band greenskins who have ransacked half of one of the two hive cities on the planet. It is feared that more orks are on their way.

The Acolytes must report to Planetary Governor Micha Fulgran once planetfall.

Their main objective is to recover General Kerrad of the 707th PDF forces of Haddokk. He is held up in Hive Beta, surrounded by mobs of orks and is unable to be extracted. The inquisition is very interested in General Kerrad and the Acolytes will need to extract him alive to be questioned.

Once planetfall the Acolytes discover that the Governor is himself an inquisitor, or atleast was one once. He provides the Acolytes with a Valkyre to fly them to Hive Beta. The team meets Lt. Titus who happens to be an undercover Acolyte for the Governor. He joins the team in the rescue of General Kerrad.

The team arrives in the middle of a warzone after being harrased by a couple of Ork fightas, losing the rear gunner of the Valkyre in the process.
