Its actually not all that uncommon for thin superglue to have a brush applicator.

On one hand its good for controll and makes you able to put on super thin coat of it (remembering that thin coats of superglue bonds, in most cases, stronger and quicker than thick ones) but on the other hand if you leave the brush out for too long you end up having just a stick (cause the glue bonds the brush together.)
