This is an appropriate place to discuss DoW 2 backround right? I mean, it does have to do with 40k..
Anyway
So I played through the game and fully corrupted my force commander, I beat the greater daemon at the end that my incompetent fellow blood ravens (computer AI) could not get to and they kill my force commander after the battle.
You can't redeem yourself in other ways than dying? Whats up with that? Why?

Dawn of War 2 has 5 different endings
So far I got the first and last ending.
It all depend on how corrupt you are.

The thing is the two factions in the Blood Raven Chapter will be calling each other heretics. Thus the Inquisition will probably get involved. Thus the last thing your commander needs is a Heretic running around.

I would have killed my commander by the end of it but that was saved for the computer forces, the fun stealing incompetants that they are

That makes sense! But I'm dead!

Are the computers supposed to run around the center/bottem of the map in circles and not do anything?

It would be better to take this to Video Games.
DoW generally isn't regarded as canonical fluff by 40K players.

I regard the DoW series of games as making complete sense. The only problem is with the games that have multi-choice endings, such as DC and SS. But in DoW2 the real endings of both of those is revealed.
Thule won on Kronus, naturally, just like any badass should.
Whatshisnamefailcake died and lost in the kauriva system, his name be forever cursed in the records of the sphess mahreens!
I'm not sure how they'll make the 3rd game, although I feel it's very likely that they will. Maybe they'll finally take us out of gakky sub-sector aurelia. Maybe even fight in the eye of terror. Personally, I got the ending where my commander and Angelos gave some crappy speach about wtfpwning their evil chapter master, and Abaddyboo had a go at whatshisface.
I really should remember their names more
Also, as that stupid libby was the traitor for me, I'd like to see Martellus become a new character I can play. I always liked him, and I don't care what people say about him being the traitor (although he probably is meant to be). There's just to much variable outcomes for DoW2 CR IMO, and I think there should have been less possible endings. While it makes it fun and more interesting, who is really gonna play the game enough times to find every single possible outcome and ending?

Mabey if they came up and helped I wouldn't have had to resort to such a cheeseball tactic to take out the greater daemon. I need to play through again to get the chaos ending. Does the chaos armor help all that much?

If it follows fluff at all then yes. The armor should actually corrupt you as it is possessed(at least in the fluff).
See Ivan, the DoW games try to follow the fluff as closely as possible. This however is almost impossible for anybody trying to make a game.
Space marines are the noblest of all the widely used 40k armies (Inquisitors and Grey Knights are the highest) and if one is corrupted they either try to destroy them or they brainwash them. It really depends on the chapter and the commander's own judgment. Although it is better than what would happen to the IG. In that case the whole company or platoon is executed.
