The news of Gary Colemans death followed by the usual RIP threads popping up across the majority of internet forums got me thinking...

If you could resurrect one famous person who would it be, and why?

The only criteria is that they have to have been widely known (no dear aunty Joans or your first hamster). It could be a musician like Jimmy Hendrix, an actress like Brittany Murphy, a world leader like John Kenedy or a tosser like Piers Morgan, oh sorry he's not dead yet, just my wishful thinking!

For me it would be Kurt Cobain, I never did get to see Nirvana live so thats my choice.

This guy. Greatest pop musician of all time. I wish he was alive now - I have a feeling he wouldn't put up with modern pop music's mediocrity.

Anyone who went to Reading festival that Nirvana played would wish him back in the ground, dreadful by all accounts.

I wouldn't mind seeing Henry VIII back on his feet, pre fatty though. he'd be a card!

Personally, that's how I feel about Cobain's "singing" in general. I have a feeling that if he was alive, Nirvana's other members would have still moved on to other problems.

We'd just have the added pleasure of not having Nirvana played on rock and "new" rock stations to this day.

I considered him, or maybe Edward I. He'd show the current lot how it's done.

Yeah I don't think bringing Cobain back would do anything. They would probably make a new album and fizzle out without popularity. And Nirvana was kinda poo anyway. +1 to whoever mentioned reading 1992, it was terrible.

For me it's Layne Staley. That guy made Alice in Chains awesome.
Now it's just kinda meh.
Oh yeah and John Lennon just because.

The greatest frontman of all time. I was giving it LOADS of this at my gig last night.

Slightly smaller audience though.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.
