Hey guys, so after doing some playing I've kinda retooled my list according to the experiences I've had. Here's the list:

HQ: 310 points
2 Daemon Princes with wings, MoS, LoS: 310
MoS cuz it's the cheapest and gives +1i. I do like LoS though as it helps move opponent off of objectives which is really handy.


Troops: 1,195 points
10 KB, 1 champion with Icon, Power Weapon - Rhino: 280 points

10 KB, 1 champion with Icon, Power Weapon - Rhino: 280 points

10 KB, 1 champion with Icon, Power Weapon - Rhino: 280 points

10 PM, 1 champion with Icon, Power Fist & Plasma Pistol. 1 Plasma Gun and 1 Melta - Rhino: 355 points
(Power Fist is better imho because with initiative 3 they aren't usually gonna be going first against marines anyways)

Heavy: 450 points
1 Defiler: 150 points

1 Defiler: 150 points

2 Obliterators: 150 points

I feel like switching out one defiler for another squad of 2 oblits as they are insanely useful and don't always get shot at first.

Total points: 1955. I was thinking of adding in some upgrades or I could try and get rid of another 30 points and get the third obliterator. Any advice is welcome

(no no no no no! Never give a guy with a powerfist a plasma pistol, he's got a str8 wepon anyway and if it overheats you've wasted 50p).

Plague marines are initiative 3, which means they usually go last so I might as well as have a power fist since the i1 isn't a big drawback there. Also personal icons for berserk/plague marines are only 5 points, not 10.

Your manpower themed cult army seems like a fun list to play. My only feedback would be to swap the melta gun on the plague marine squad for another plasma gun as FNP applies to "Gets Hot" and thus you would want to take advantage of this by spamming as much str 7 ap 2 plasma shots as possible, preferably into an elite enemy unit of some kind.

As for your extra 45 points, spend them on either extra armour or havoc launchers (win) for 3 of your rhinos.

I'll start off by saying that your list scares me... lol

Troops:
From the looks of it you're planning on Deep striking the Oblitz, and that's a huge waste of points, at most you'll pop one tank then they're goners. I would recommend dropping the Icons, and give the Zerkers Meltabombs.
Switch out the Meltagun on the PM for another Plasma gun. (also IMO drop the plasma pistol)

Heavy:
Grab a third Obliterator.
You're better off keeping the second Defiler, they work best in pairs. Speaking of Defilers, when you have that many men on the field I'd be worried about scatter.

Plasma is nice on Plagues, but in this list, keep the meltas...as there is a lack of them.

And IMO, meltas > plasma with respect to what the CSM army really needs.

You know I've been thinking recently about noise marines. I think I will have to play with them to see how much I like them, but having assault 2, heavy 3 weapons for cheap really makes for a nice squad. I'll have to tinker with the numbers and maybe replace a squad of berserkers with a squad of noise marines. Thanks for the comments so far guys

But, noise marines with sonic blasters are not cheap.
They are expensive because you get a unique flexibility.
