SWEET! It's actually less than most of the Super Special edition version of video games and will last just as long (hopefully) as a good game if not longer.

How long was 7th around? I started playing about 3 months ago so I don't know the average length of time between Edition changes.

A new edition comes out every 4 years or so if I remember correctly.

Thanks. If the price is as you say it is, not doubting you it's just GW hasn't announced one and they might tack an extra $50 on it for no real reason, then it is really reasonable.

I will definitely buy the cards, its just convenient. I think the templates are kind of bleh and cheesy looking. The ruler would get on my nerves. The markers possible, depends on what all is in there, cause i already have tons of markers and what not. The dice, meh i spent 45$ on precision dice so i doubt i will use those.

Those magic cards tho, omg bout damn time.

I just died a little bit on the inside. I'll probably get the main book and the cards then. If I'm feeling crazy I might grab the dice too.

The dice arent bad, but games workshop dice are not made with much precision..

When measuring the dice myself and others have found up to 1mm deviations from on side to another. This may not seem like much, but it can lead to certain rolls comng up way more often.

Same. And not only do I have tons of dice, but I also have the ones from the LE release set of Warhammer 7th, which are much nicer from what I can see.

I have a dice set for each army. My green warpstone skaven ones are in a ratskin bag, for example. I can't really see what army these new ones would go with yet... but I'm sure they'll fit in somewhere

I'm not crazy about stuff with skulls on them, but I'm a sucker for dice... so we'll see!!

I heard $60-ish for the rulebook from the local GW staff... but they're not that reliable and the rumors are saying $75. It looks like the rest will be extra (from whatever the main book costs) and sold separately.
