What do you think is a good name for a SM chapter painted purple armour, black shoulder pads and red trim?

I tend to find biblical and/or Roman names and references suit Marines quite well.

well what's their symbol? any fluff? what legion is it a successor chapter of? those things will all help to choose a name.

This is ridiculously close to the colour scheme for my vanilla marines apart from the shoulder pads it's exactly the same.

Purple = panthers

add an adjective before it and you have a winner.

Here's an idea for a name: the One-Eyed One-Horned Flying Purple Eldar Eaters (with apologies to Sheb Wooley). Yeah, okay, I got nothin'.

Void Watchers or Void Sentinels.

The Black is the Void/Warp, the Red is the fact they are guarding it. Purple is just a pretty colour.

Or maybe reality is black, the red is the Sentinels, and the Purple is the Warp trying to get at the black...

Or something like that.

A "Purple Headed Warrior" is name for a man's genitalia, hence the "HA! My helmet is bigger than yours!"

I was thinking something thst is a successor chapter to the Dark Angels or Black Templars.

Something that has knights,tempalars or angels.
