Anyone else going? The soon-to-be Mrs Manchu and I are going to the show in Bristow at the end of July. Be cool to see some other Dakkites there! Anyway, should be awesome.

I like all the albums I have so far except for No Prayer for the Dying and Fear of the Dark (which I thought both were mediocre). And I dare not touch Blaze-era albums both because of what my friends said and because of critical
reviews I've read and I have no interest in there newer stuff.
I'm not going. In Spain they are playing in Valencia. I would have to travel for 6 hours and find a place to sleep there. And the tickets are weird expensive. Not this time.

6 hours isn't really that bad, I was went on a road trip with my family that took several days just to get there and one of those days was 16 hours of straight driving.

Damn, nearest one to me is Chicago. Ugh, 14 hour drive. No thanks.
--The whole concept of government granted and government regulated 'permits' and the accompanying government mandate for government approved firearms 'training' prior to being blessed by government with the privilege to carry arms in a government approved and regulated manner, flies directly in the face of the fundamental right to keep and bear arms.

When they come to Japan, the tickets are usually in the realm of $100 plus. On top of which, I'd have to take a train to Tokyo for another $80 and probably have to stay overnight as the concert would let out too late for me to take a train back, so another $100. Plus, I'd have to try and drink about 15 cans of beer, so there goes another $50. Then in a drunken stupour, I'd go get some food a couple of times, $30. And if I was approached by the shadowy candy salesmen near the concert, I'd probably drop another $100, forcing me to take a day off meaning lost wages of about another $150.
I like Maiden, but not that much. Now, if it was Dio and done like "Weekend at Bernie's", then I'd totally pay.

16 hours? Ouch! The only time I've been so much time on the road was in a travel since Pamplona (Spain) to Poitiers (France). And it was because the bus broke down and we weren't allowed to get down. It was desperating. In another travel we went from Pamplona to Paris, wich is a longer travel, and took us much less time. By bus too. Now I love low price airlines <3
I love Iron Maiden, they were the first important band I saw live, and I would love to see them again, but the promoters are crossing the line with the prices. In 10 years the prices have been increased to the triple. You can bet that my income hasn't been increased that much. I'm not going to support that.
Just drove 18 hrs straight from Naples, FL, to Richmond, VA. In a week, I'm driving another straight ten from Richmond to Ann Arbor. Bristow is only about 2hrs away and the tickets were only 50 bucks each. How could I NOT go?
I´m going to the concert in Bergen, too bad Heaven and Hell won`t be there to warm up the audience I really think it`s gonna be great though, especially if they play Dance of Death and Paschendale Oh, BTW, do anyone know if Dream Theather is going to open in Norway too?

European support remains unconfirmed. Dream Theater is unlikely though I am afraid.
Has anyone heard the second track of Final Frontier? El Dorado? I am loving it currently...
Oh and I think I'll just leave this here:
To quote the Channel 4 show, Peep Show: "I'm cancelling out of shame, like my subscription to White Dwarf"
Its one of my minor life goals to see them play live one day.
n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.
