The idea (besides my fluff reasons, which are long and drawn out) behind the cannoness squad is the land raider delivers them into small non-hand to hand units, or into dreadnoughts/vehicles and lets them do their thing, with 10 eviscerator attacks on the charge re-rolling misses they should make mince meat out of most armor, and even have a good chance of hurting things that moved 12 inches since they re-roll all attacks not just vs WS. with their 3 faith points + 1 free faith power used they should be able to weather a couple of rounds of combats with a 3+ invul save. Vulkan hides in the LR and joins wherever he is needed to fight. Clads protect the Razors and provide a means of getting cover for the razors. This army has a decent Alpha strike (nothing to call home about) but it really shines in medium to close range where the tlinked plas and twinlinked heavy flamers/meltas start popping stuff.

As I said I have some fluff I have worked up for this army, but I am willing to listen to suggestions for changes. against parking lot guard I want suggestions, my initial reaction is to turtle up in a corner using the av 13 and av 14 as cover for my razors while moving up the field to get the cannoness squad and clads into combat. Thoughts?

I feel if you include sisters, you should be including troops with flamers and meltaguns

The ironclad need drop pods

take meltaguns not combi weapons on your troops, saves you some points

I don't like the troops. The marines have one shot at glory (no pun intended) and once they take it, expect your opponent to pour a little fire power into them and annihilate them. I think the sistuhs run up your points to much, drop them and expand on your troop choices. Troops are key in 5th edition and I believe your not unlocking (no pun intended) your armies full potential. Vulkan Armies generally run the TH/SS in a Redeemer and tactical squads and one or two dropping dreads with MM/HF. Mostly, just get more scoring units imo. Well, have fun and maybe we'll see some Bat Reps outta you yet!
