I've been trying to fit 100 marines into a 2500 point list. 80 marines 8 terminators, 5 scouts 7 bikes. )n the side I have 2 dreads and two rhinos than can preds or razorbacks. I can make any hq required and I have a few servitors, and Inquisitor goodness. What army, including chaos would allow me the best use of all these foot troops?

After the orbital strikes, Thunderhawk bombardments, Whirlwinds, Vindicators, fusion and starfire and finally Battle Brothers with flamers had finished cleansing the world of all the enemies of Man, we built a monastery in the center of the largest, most radioactive impact crater. We named the planet "Tranquility", for it was very quiet now.

Well, 99 Khorne Berzerkers in 5 squads led by Kharne the Betrayer is 2265. That leaves 235pts. for equipment and maybe a couple supplemental units like Predators or something.

Bear in mind that I'm a very casual player, and any advice I give will reflect that tendency.

I have actually tried this sort of thing at the 1850 point level. It can catch a lot of armies off guard, since NO ONE plans to fight that many marines. However, there will be some match ups where you do not have a chance. Regardless, its a fun way to play.

I could see that. Reminds me of a battle rep I read where a guy was playing horde orks in a tourny that was allowing titans. He was hoping that he wouldnt get pinned against an army with titans. SO he took a pure horde army to go against the guys that set up an army for popping titans.
Sure if he fought a titan he would of lost badly, but he didnt lol. He CRUSHED his opponents and won the tourny, they just werent prepared to face a couple hundred Orks with lances and lascannons

Something very important to note, is that your army won't have very much space for deployment. Anything out of cover is bound to get targeted by AP2-3 weaponry. Vindicators would absolutely love to face a list saturated with marines.
Templates will be the bane of your armies existence, and you will need to have experience playing with so many models. I would hope that any tournaments you play in (or games in general), have a very specific time limit for each player turn. If your taking 3/4 of the whole game because it takes you so long to move your army, it could be considered cheating in many situations.
Khorne spam sounds like quite a bit of fun; Smurfs... not so much. Hopefully you will figure out a way to actually make use of all of your bolters, but it won't be easy. Your small arms firepower, is going to be absolutely overwhelming, and key to your success. You're not going to do very well against most mech armies though, they'll have a ball tank-shocking the living Smurf out of you.
At least your not trying to play maxed out Green tide. 180 models in Boyz alone... WTF. I don't even see the point in playing against an army like that, it would just overwhelm anything with less than MASSIVE amounts of anti-infantry firepower. If you manage to hit 10 Boyz/ flamer, it means you will need 18 flamers to take the model count down to 90 models, which is great and all... until the Ork player figures out how to deploy in anti-flamer formations.
Then you can just play Eldar and take 20 HF/JB Warlocks, along with Farseer, for extra doomed flaminess.

Well, if you run with the Chaos option, Khorne Berzerkers are all Fearless, and can have 3 Powerfist attacks to discourage vehicles from driving into them.

That sounds horribly impracticaly, but fun beyond belief.
Berzerkers are beasts in small, individual squads, but if even four or five units of ten Berzerkers managed to engage enemies, I think they would drop most anything they want to hit.

Thanks for all the help so far. As for playing time. I'm a nid and ork player so I know how to move models quick. I was thinking about taking this army up to ard boyz round 2, so with those missions in mind. Would you think a grey hunter spam list or outflanking shrike list, or FnP Ba list. How about a fearless Bile enhanced chaos list?

Go-go biker battle company! Eh, a little off topic, but this topic inspried me to write a battle company list, with the catch being that the entire force is mounted.
205 Capitan on bike w/relic blade, artificer, hellfire and SS
185 Epislitory, mounted (Dome and vortex, usually, with null zone and avenger intermitantly)

My original list included a chaplain, but I tryed my hardest to squeeze/strech it into 4000 exactly, it has 6 tacticals (bikers, obviously) two assault squads (speeders) two devistator squads (whirlwinds and sternguard) and a scout detachment. It's a battle company twisted into my idea of awesome... now all I need are 30 more bikers =/
I just realized that this had almost nothing to do with this thread...
