Ok, I made a thread a couple of weeks ago about my ideas for something big I'm planning on getting from Forge World. I'm heading to Warhammer World on the 19th, and I have about £200-220 saved up for something big I want to work on as a way of treating myself for my GCSEs.

And before you say "Warhound Titan, Warhound Titan!!", I already have two Titans, I want to branch out into something different.

I've started this thread so the other one dosen't get locked for threadnecromancy (which I don't understand), and now I've finalised my ideas into four choices, explained below.


Renegade Militia

Elysians

. Elysian Passengers

I'm just looking for opinions on what I should get. I'm not necessarily looking for stuff that performs well on the battlefield, I also want something that will be fun to paint and build. So far, I'm inclined towards the Elysians or the Renegades, but I thought I'd open it up to you guys as well.

As much as I'd say Elysians or Renegades, the Tau Crisis suits Forge World puts out are amazing. What armies do you normally play?

Has to be Tau, they are some very nice suits.

I'd go for renegades, with that much cash you could make yourself a really nice traitor guard army ^^ I love the models in the range, especially the ogryns and psykers!

As I am an Ork player I choose Orks of course because there is so many painting and modelling options with Orks.

I vote renegades. Its something very different model wise. Further, I'd hold off tau to see if they redo the old battlesuits.

Tau, I play both Orks and Tau...and the Suits are just AMAZING for tau...

Between Renegades, Tau, and Orks, that's tough - Forgeworld has some incredible models! I voted Orks, since their recent stuff has been absolutely astounding. Elysians never appealed to me, since their armor looks like oven mitts to me.

Renegades, of course.

When you already have armies, always go with the least common choice for future expansions.

Tau. Those crisis and broadside suits are AMAZING having assembled and seen them before. The broadsides are a bit annoying to put together, though.

I like the battle suits Forgeworld has done for tau, but i'd go with Orks or Elysians.

I voted orks, but are you seriously going to make this decision based on what a bunch of people you don't know think?

Just go with your gut.

My gut can't decide on what to get.

I'd look at each individual model and rate them out of ten. then add up individual scores for each army and see which comes out the best. It may take a while, but then the decision will be down to you and how you feel about each model/army.

Oh and good luck for the exams mate, im going through mine as well. (In fact I should probably be doing some history revision)

The new tau battlesuits are fantastic; that said, you might think about a barracuda for those apoc games...

Hmm, still leaning towards Elysians slightly but still very undecided. I've also been having thoughts about getting another Warhound, making the choice even harder :(

How about a death korps army? Thats what I'm going to get if the exchange rate keeps going like this.
