That is damn sweet, kudos to you sir. I love the lava on the axe and overall it is an absolutely fantastically painted model, I may have to pick one up just to paint..... that said I do need an idea for an entry into the youngbloods this year...

it is a really fun modell to paint but it is also really challenging

This is one amazing model. I like the details on the scripts. Everything you painted had depth and was very clean, with little or no mistakes. I also like the highlighting on the wings! What paints did you use for the paper?

I paint the paper this way
First base -Foundation kermin brown
then blech bone
gryphone speia wash
highlight blech bone
final highlight blech bone+withe

Very nice! I think my favorite part might be the wings. You really managed to keep them dark without looking flat. Looking at the inside of the wings, there's very little black there, but they still feel black, which means you've done it right.

I am stunned. I never notice that the model's armor looks like corded muscle, and you did a really good job defining that.

Brilliant work! I agree about that model.

This paint job is more appealing to me than the one GW are showing to promote that model to be honest.

I still hate the wings on these BA's (so impractical) but the character is very cool. Nice job mate. I like how you painted parts in bone white. Makes the model stand out more.

Im not so keen on his mouth though. Not sure why, maybe cause its just all black? Hmm. Meh.

Needs bigger nipples.
