I am thinking about either playing Epic or battlefleet gothic, and have a few questions about the games. Since this is the Epic scale section of the forum, I will of course ask only the ones related to Epic....so here they are.

1.Where are the stats for every unit in The Game? (you lost the game) I've read the Epic Armageddon rules and have only found the stats for IG, SM and Orks.

2.Are nids still playable?

3.Are any other armies coming to the game in the future? Tau, dark eldar or necs would be cool

4.Do you play with painted Epic minis? It is kinda hard to paint them for me.

Help me out, please.

It says that in the rulebook that you purchase has all the stats for every army. What form of the rules do you have since I know you dont have the newer rulebook?

Unfortunately after Swordwind specialist games died and it's not up to the fans to complete the gaps.

http://www.netepic.org/ is based on the 2nd edition of Epic. Its not an offical GW product but has army lists for all the current 40k races and more such as Squats, Nids, Tau, Necrons etc etc etc

1. Rulebook only has those three armies. Swordwind (see Mephistons post) has Eldar and Ferals (as well as new IG list) as well. Unfortunately GW doesn't seem to be interested in doing any other 40k lists.

2. There are fan rules for Nids. See the latest list in here (pdf).

3. See fan made Epic: Raiders.

4. I play both painted and unpainted. I'm slow painter and don't have much time so I don't paint very fast. But I want to try things out so I test things in games regardless are they painted or not.
