Hey all, been lurking for a while, inspiring stuff on here. I'm more of a modeller and painter, haven't really played since the days of Rogue Trader (almost out of parts on my remaining RTB01 sprue  ), but that time doesn't neccesarily translate into skill I'm afraid - or completed armies  . It does however translate into a large amount of kit and ideas floating around, which coupled with that ever-present modeller's ADD means slow progress, especially once it gets to painting.
I was going to say something about using the forums to keep motivated, but have just realised that the hours spent looking at cool stuff here has started MORE idea-cogs turning, damn. Oh well, best go look at some cool stuff to console myself...

So, I was in this place people call the mall a while back. And I had the urge to expel some bad spirits. As I went into the bathroom, I chose the urinal closes to the corner so I could have some privacy. So I whip out Lord Pevincy and let him loose the bad spirits. Well, I was looking at the wall as the Lord was expelling the spirits and I seemed to have gotten distracted. Turns out, I missed a little.
SO I'm sitting at my computer right, and I have a Coke, Bottled mind you. But it got warm, so I got a Coffie cup and I filled it with the coke and some Ice and I sipped as I did my internet stuff. So like and hour passed and I hadn't sipped any of it. and when I go to sip it, I notice that something solid is in it. So I'm like, "No, why would there be something solid in my coke?" SO I pull these solid THINGS off my tongue and guess what they are? F ING ANTS! I was like WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And so I ran into the Kitchen coughing and what not and I threw those little bastards down the drain with a flood of hate and cold water.......those bastards are lucky I don't have my Nucians yet!!! |

Welcome to Dakka. As an avid painter and modeller I also seem to stray from one project to the other. Currently I'm floating about painting: 1500pts of 'nids, several (kitbashed/converted) CSM, 12 Fallen Angels, 24 converted Moria Goblins and the rest of my brothers Black Templars. Focusing on one of them is just so dang hard when new ideas keep poppin into my head. Anyway, welcome, there are lots of great conversions to look at here (and you could even check some of mine  )

Hey, thanks for all the welcomes, guys.
My main projects at the moment (meaning they're somewhere near the front of my desk and have seen some sort of action in the last 6 months  ) are :
various elements of my Crusaders Penitent chapter - few odd marines, some assault termies, a chaplain and details for most of the vehicles
most of my Blood Fists chapter - 30-odd marines, termies and some vehicles, 1 dread ALMOST done
urban IG - veteran sqd, vulture and valk under brushes, various bits at blue- tac stage
various renegade/chaos forces - mutants, renegades, slaanesh beastmen amongst others
cybork warband - just started
warped 'nids - stealers to be painted, rest of army/armies on hold until I get round to checking out the codex ( I know I said I don't play, but I can't shake my gaming OCD which forces me to create legal forces - can be annoying, as at the rate I work, codices and editions normally change just as I'm hitting my stride  )
and there's probably some other stuff that's been shovelled under the latest gubbins
