Hey,

I'm kinda wondering what tanks I should invest in.
Since they aren't very cheap, I can only afford it to buy 2 tanks with my current amount of money.
I would like to buy tanks which I can use in my 1,500 army list, as well as in smaller games. (1000 points)
About the price, I shouldn't worry. They are both 39.00 euro.
Should I buy 2 hellhounds (or its variants) or 2 leman russes (or its variants)?
Any advice is welcome

I've only got one tank in my renegade guard, a regular Leman Russ. Suffice to say-It gets the job done.

Whatever you do buy, I would recommend looking into magnetising them.

it woud depend on what kind of army you're running. Need fast infantry killers? Hellhounds/banewolves. Transport smashers? Exicutioners. All rounder? LRBT. Siege buster? Demolisher.

For all round effectiveness try a standard leman russ and 2 hellhounds. 1 with meltacannon and the other inferno. They can offer some nice flexibility for infantry forces as well as be fleshed out with more armored units.

As on the hellhound topic, two hellhounds with hull mounted multi-meltas would be more effective than a hellhound and a devil dog due to the increased chance of multi-meltas hitting.

Exercutioners, although expensive, are pretty awesome, but I'm pretty sure two russes would do the same job.

I would totally get the Leman Russ! The new design is looking good, you can mod it easily to find the variant that suits you
