They'll appreciate your zany sideshow panoply of fat and boring. Yeah we don't like sophmoric humor here on dakka! We especially don't like jokes about gay dark angels or how rogal dorn is gay or how space elfs are gay. Not us. Nosiree. wait, Bolter&chainsword has those too? I thought it was just DakkaDakka (the only reason I check here, really)

Posted By Kid_Kyoto on 11/15/2006 5:23 PM Back on topic let's look at some of the articles, we have a special article on how best to pose your Space Elfen walkers to accentuate their long legs and firm and high buttocks. Phil Kelly expalins how the long pulsating weapons of the Wraithlord make it a heavy hitter. Another article explains how to gently stroke a space Elf for the best results. For Gobo players there's advice on how to use to use your big balls. from Germany are some horney bosses. Another german talks about big coconuts. We also learn how best to fire our huge cannons and penetrate deeply, the French way. And finally we have a little scorecard to list our conquests. I love black gobbo. KK for president! No other Dakka poster has ever made tears run down my cheeks in horrible laughing fits... Thank you KK. Cilithan out... Some wonderfull KK proza for all the true fans: (This is my favourite) The Demon H8er Guys really (x2) hate the Space Demons. That’s too bad cause the Girl Space Demons are real (x2) hot. Oh well more Girl Space Demons for me I guess. Sometimes the Demon H8er Guys like to go up to the Big Space Demons and hit them with hammers. That’s real (x2) funny cause, like, even if you’re a Demon H8er with your dress and your skulls and your hammer and everything, what’s that gonna do to a Space Demon? Nothing. The Space Demon’s just gonna scrape you off his cloven hoof. Oh well. No great loss. – Sneak Preview of Codex Demon H8er Guys

Posted By nyarlathotep667 on 11/15/2006 1:59 PM As MACHO MAN SAVAGE has already mentioned, he's OLD school Dakka Dakka, from the heady days where MegaDave roamed free, Barphanges and HardCoil routinely amazed us with their latest plastic creations (much like EDSK does today), DarkWolf and Kwade were mods and Russ had a store where he kept the Dakka Grots locked up in the basement, chained to the elliptical cycles that kept power flowing to the glory that was, that is DakkaDakka.com. Oh yeah! Holy moly I miss those guys... (where's the crying orkicon when i need it?) Posted By keezus on 11/15/2006 2:13 PM What about OLD OLD SCHOOL Dakka... the days of Clousseau and Drew Riggio (of the bouncing skeleton)?!??? Sigh - now I'm getting all misty... Posted By stonefox on 11/15/2006 2:58 PM In old Dakka, before I started playing, I lurked a while. I remember NecRon Jeremy (who would forget a name like that?) but not Macho Man. That's because Macho Man was a Dakka regular before Ron. We're talking waaaaay back. Like far enough back that those of us who actually remember probably feel little pangs of shame and self-loathing when we think about the all and money spent on the hobby which could have been better spent in less frivolous pursuits. Or at least on better beer.

That's because Macho Man was a Dakka regular before Ron. It's true, jack. Posted By stonefox on 11/15/2006 2:58 PM Too bad NecRon Jeremy isn't a gimmick. It would be sweet if he was. He'd tell lots of stories about Dark Angels. Oh I'm a gimmick alright. At least that's what my old manager always told me. I mean look at me - I'm not exactly the best looking guy on the block right? But I make up for it in other ways. Ahem, that said, I'm not much of a fan of the Dark Angels (although you might be interested to know that my old friend Jeff Stryker has a MASSIVE Dark angel army), but yowza do I love the Sisters of Battle. And of course my necrons because robots are the future, man.

You guys are SICK.......
and I'm enjoying each and every minute of it.
If you think Black Gobbo was recycled, wait until you see this months WD. It has an 8 page "welcome to the wargaming hobby" section. I kid you not. It talks about what wargaming is, the differewnce between Fantasy and 40K, and all kinds of other stuff you used to get in theose free pamphlets. I don't have the issue here at work, so no full review (I haven't read it all anyway), but it had an inordinate amount of LOTR and a promising section on this years Golden Deamon winners. There was also something interesting about Rogue Trader and Grand Tourney .
I was a Portent guy back in the day. I probably posted les than 20 times, but I checked up on it at least weekly.

Hey there, Mr. Elusive sir,a big Macho thank you for stickin' up for the ol' Macho Man! It's good to feel the love for the Macho Man again... such as it is. But I'll take that as I can get it! Oh yeah, dig it!
Mr. Iron, I hear you on that Portent, brother! Man, let me tell you, I checked up on Portent a lot back when 3rd edition was just getting ready to Freak Out on everyone! Got the old Macho Man back into playing 40k, it did! 2nd edition was just not Macho enough...
That's too bad to hear about the upcoming WD, just too bad. Seems that the Macho Man only gets the WDs on rare occassions, like when I feel bad for putting the hurt to people in the ring! Oh Yeah!
