Something else to consider. The people here on Dakka Dakka who angry are probably a minority. The angry veterans are also a minority. There are probably alot more happy customers out there who play the game for fun ( shouldn't we all?) understand that models cost money, and aren't unhappy or upset. *looks over GW's finacial records* Facts dont quite support you there.

Hope more old fools come to their senses and start giving you their money instead of those Union Jack Blood suckers... |

Posted By General Hobbs on 05/25/2007 11:34 AM they expect GWEurope, which is where they had the losses, to rebound. ROFL If they did, they wouldn't have closed down all those European stores last month. GW is running from the European market like an ostrich with it's head between its legs.

Closing stores down in areas that aren't supporting the hobby is smart. You don't fish in an empty lake.

.Only a fool believes there is such a thing as price gouging. Things have value determined by the creator or merchant. If you don't agree with that value, you are free not to purchase. |

Yeah, but you don't expect to catch more fish after you stop fishing there either. How are sales going to rebound in areas where they've closed the stores? I don't blame them, I'm just saying that there statements are completely out of touch with reality.

I guess they will open stores in areas where there are more fish?

Oh, god. Imagine the exquisite agony of the 40K rulebook translated from English to Mandarin, by GW, the company too cheap to hire editors... .

He's got a mind like a steel trap. By which I mean it can only hold one idea at a time;
it latches on to the first idea to come along, good or bad; and it takes strenuous effort with a crowbar to make it let go.

Actually the foreign language (German, Italian etc.) books tend to be better written -- or at least less ambiguous -- than the original English because they have to hire a translator, and he comes back with questions and gets clarifications on points that are unclear.
