stompas are just smaller gargants

And the ones in the pictures seem to big to be Stompas.  In all fairness Stompas and Gargants are (or can be) a bit different from each other.  It really can depend on which version of the models are being used.

Any chance that some of those vehicles are built off the rumored new ork kits?

That buggy looks especially interesting to me.

Unless GW made two entirely different bodies then these are not kits, try matching the armour plates from one to the other for instance. The two entirely different heads and all scratch built weapons arms also seem to put false to these being kits. I think these look alright as stompas, they are very simular to the old epic models, but I think they are someones own scratch built attempts. GW have used scratch built models ocasionally in the past in pictures.

They dont look that powerfull to me though. Just two robots in dresses which dont have alot of weapons on them. Are these the things everyone in the IG books is afraid of ?
What, you're not afraid of robots in dresses?

In the upper left background there are some trucks and a buggy.  Do folks think those are scratchbuilds or new vehicles?

Are the buggies and trukks/battlewagos to the left side of the pic new kits or known scratch builds? They don't look familiar to me.

I saw those as well and I thought they might be the new kits for wartrukks and a battlewagon.  But the war trukk is enclosed and it looks like it has some kind of gun mounted on the back, which is probably a kit option.

There are also a few other vehicles hidden under the large APOCALYPSE title.  Some of the accessories look like the older trukk models, buts its hard to say.

Now have any of you stopped to think that if this is a kit, hten the body head and whatever else is multiple parts? Really now. Also none of us really know untill the actual book comes out, so don't go starting arguments until you actually know something about it. And don't go around being grumpy that games workshop is making something that to you is nothing more then a scam, because for all you know you could actually like apocalypse when its here. I'm not pointing fingers at anybody, I'm Just saying that none of you have a right to go screwing around with people who like apocalypse.

I love the Badmoon stompa. Straight out of epic. No question that they're scratchbuilds. I can't wait for the new kit. I'm pretty mad they put it on hold because of the sprue size

Yeah there is alot of people on warseer that have absolurtely no frickin idea what they are talking about.

Their premise for these being the new stompas is that this picture is in white dwarf. Thats it.

So, if youre a complete slow, then by all means follow the short bus to stupidville.

These are conversions.

Let me reiterate.

These are conversions.

Not bad for what they are, but these are simply not kits.
Hugs Hellfury.  It's ok buddy.  Some people believe there's a magical superhighway coming too.

Don't be so sure the thread is locked.  News is kinda tight right now.

From things I've read at The Waaagh, the stompa kit is effectively dead in the water, and is not being produced. Much to my chagrin, especially considering that incredible concept artwork we all saw some time ago. The basic structure of the thing was just too difficult to get to sprue and into a box - something a boxy Baneblade doesn't have the same issues with.

I also think that those stompas/gargants are conversions. GW is not going to give the modeller 2 different options for the front armor housing of a stompa, as it's just too big to make multiples of that may not get used. Extra weapons and heads are one thing - a whole additional front plate that size is not something that GW is going to give as an option.
