At first I though these were new stompa kits, but closer look will see they're home made.  None the less kudos to the maker!

Not so much a tide of orks, but a stream of orks.

Good thing they're not the the stompa kit. They're took a tumble through the ugly grove and took every ugly branch full in the face.

Actually, plenty of people on Warseer with "sources" are assuring us these are from the kit and not scratchbuilds, although one may be a conversion.

If they are in fact the official kit, it might be a little easier to resist starting an Ork army than I previously feared...

Doubt its the kit. Looking at the two models, I only see one component that appears to be common to both models: the right foot. It also looks like the Goff stompa is about an inch taller than the Bad Moons stompa.

Those Stompaz kick arse! If those are the new plastic kits, I'm a happy man. They are Ugly, but that's how they are supposed to look. I think they are great.

After seeing jamsessionein's Stompa these just won't do.  I'm one of the teaming hordes thats been holding out and waiting for a new Ork codex, and if those are the plastic kits I'll be sorely disappointed.

Sadly there really isn't anything new or interesting in this picture.  I mean, c'mon, lets see an Apacolypse size Gretchin mob at least!  Gretchin as far as the eye can see!

Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.

Whether production or home made, I like those a lot. Very Orky. Except the yellow. Not keen on the old dull yellow though (even though I realise it matches the clan). Should be red.

I don't have 18 months, or the patience to make one of the insane conversions out there, and I think this thing looks Orky, and hot!

They pretty much look like the old epic stompas so why is anyone disappointed?  Pretty much what I suspected and why would we think they are not the real thing?  They look like stompas and GW doesnt usually put conversions in advetisements.

Exactly. I think those... things... are the official kit. Hey, who said aforementioned kits would not consist of a roll of wire and two sheets of plasticard? Ork all the way! DIY plastic kit!

Are the buggies and trukks/battlewagos to the left side of the pic new kits or known scratch builds? They don't look familiar to me.

Yeah there is alot of people on warseer that have absolurtely no frickin idea what they are talking about.

Their premise for these being the new stompas is that this picture is in white dwarf. Thats it.

So, if youre a complete slow, then by all means follow the short bus to stupidville.

These are conversions.

Let me reiterate.

These are conversions.

Not bad for what they are, but these are simply not kits.

exactly.  They look orky, that what they looked like before do why are some people saying they look ugly?  of course they do they are ork made not eldar made.  I think they look great and depending on the price i might just get one.

Maybe because they don't like the old Epic Stompas, and were hoping for something a little more updated...?

But I very much doubt that these are production models. They look like scratchbuilds, and I'm fairly sure GW said a while back that the Stompa was an idea that they threw around, but that won't be happening just yet.

The plating on them is completely different. One is much more rectangular all over.

Im sad, I kinda like them, but glad, because they can be better!

Thumbs up for giving orks... a picture.

Yeah, like this isnt the first time I have seen a converted ork vehicle featured in white dwarf, and yet they didnt give the disclaimer "Converted ork trukk " either.

They said the baneblade was a conversion because it was in a labelled Sneak Peek picture.

This isn't a sneak peek picture, it's a promotional flyer. It doesn't mention that the Stompas are conversions for the same reason that it doesn't mention that the trukks, buggies and bunker in the background are conversions: There's no need. It's  not advertising new models, it's advertising Apocalypse. It's just showing a bunch of models.

Clearly scratchbuilds, as they don't match. They look pretty similar to the Stompa I've been planning, and now that I've seen them I'm reconsidering my approach. They're not bad, mind you, but they don't look as good as the old Epic Stompas, to my mind.

They dont look that powerfull to me though. Just two robots in dresses which dont have alot of weapons on them. Are these the things everyone in the IG books is afraid of ?

Yeah they are suppose to represent thebig scary thing.  I feel these are not very good.  They look like plastic pales turned upside down and covered in plasticard and have weapons that are going to fall off if you try and use them.

A kit would be great for ork players that don't have the time to invest and just to build and feild one or like me that would love to see what bits it comes with.  If these are new kits I'll stick to building my own.

These things have 2 different body builds and I can't see GW going through that much expense - especially since they are supposedly waiting to see how well the Baneblade sells. On top of that, as mentioned earlier the only thing the 2 have in common is the right foot.

The 'artillery' towards the center left caught my eye though. 7 pieces fielded in a squad. Wonder what the max number would be or in what combinations they can be fielded?

I thought they had "problems with the sprue" again?
Those look too big to be plastic kits, I'd imagine a different look to them.
Stompas are like baby gargants.
The actually kit should come with about 40 grot slaves.

It's not that they don't seem "Orky", it is that the two models don't seem like Stompa's to me.  They remind me more of Gargants which are a bit to big even for Alpacalypse.
