Out of curiosity, what is the level of painting to get 30-35 points in an average GT? I am kind of curious as to where my skills would fall, but Cool Mini or Not has pretty well convinced me I should be deeply ashamed to ever play in a well lit room...

By the way, roll Witch Hunters. I need a good role model for my future gaming exploits

I have played against Cyphers Deathwing army twice with my all Berzerker army and we had 2 awesome massacres. One for me when I went first and one for him when he went first.

I would say that it is impossible to win a GT with a pure Deathwing list.

Well. Deathwing is hard to win with.

That is why I am talking about strait up codexes. If you don't, you get into all kinds of odd lists like bad space marine and IG traits, pure grey knights, radical witchhunter inquisitors, etc.

Well Orks take it hands down then IMO.

But I have a better idea. Why not finish painting your Eldar army and see how you do when you finally have a nicely painted army?

Or is that just too wacky?

Maybe you are right...and I think have another painting project coming up soon anyways.

I came up with:

Librarian w/Jumppack

5x 10 Marines w/Las/plas Razorback w/Heavy Bolters

1 Landspeeder w/Heavy Flamer

3 Predators w/Autocannon and Heavy Bolter Sponsons

9 Vehicles, and a bunch of heavy bolters, and 5 lascannons.

Blackmoor, I don't think you can take a razorback with a unit of ten marines...

Sure you can.  Just not a good idea generally.
