Ah... More info.
Awesome.

Don't discount the Greater Daemon... but don't count on it too much, either.
It's a SOLID piece and MORE THAN worth its' hundred points... but if you put him in the wrong situation, he WILL be annihilated.

Since you want the Rhino, I suggest D-Possessing it for the 20 points, and a 5 pt dozer blade is a good idea, in case you roll the dreaded "1" in difficult terrain. Might as well give it the TL bolter, too, if you have the points.

going on what you said, I'd suggest all P-Weapons or P-Fists, dependong on your preference.Personally, I like the Fists in a unit where HALF the models have them & half don't. they're like Power Weapons on Steroids. Of course, I'm sure you know that. P-Weapons aren't horrible, though... Then again, you might like paired L-Claws, too.

It almost looks like you've talked yourself out of the Heavy Weapon. I hope so. It's one thing to take a melta or Plas gun... but heavies screw up your Move & Fire... and you need to keep these guys mobile. Plus, as you said, your lord won't HAVE infiltrate... it's not a good idea to put his bodyguard 6" in front of him if they're supposed to be an escort.
...and teques is right about cover. <G>

BTW, if you want a Lord who's a real HtH monster... try Abbadon. LOL

DPo: Why do you care if the Rhino is shaken when all it needs to do is remain mobile?

Dozer blade: How often will you be moving 6"? Better to suck it up and take the 1/6 chance IMO.

TL-bolter: What ever for?

These are 15 points no one needs to waste.
