I want to thank everyone who showed up, we had 20 players and Dakka was well represented.
Frenrik(Chaos), Cypher(Marines), Mortetvie(Eldar), Spmusubi(IG), Phoenix(Eldar), Lormax(Tyranid), Scudman(Tyranid), Alpharius walks(Dark Eldar), Yakface(IG) and I(Marines) were all there. Sadly, there were no Orks.

I had an awesome time! I can't wait for the next Game Empire RTT in March.

Maybe in March I'll bring the Orks, but the choice of using 150+ models in 2 1/2 hours and using 50 necrons in 2 1/2 hours was an easy one.

And again, gratz to Darrian for taking home the win.

Sorry I forgot to mention you Lemurking, the number of new faces was overwhelming. I hope you do bring the greenskins in March. I will be playing my Grey Knights.

This was a great event with a large turnout of great players. Let's make sure that the next one is larger and even more fun.

Thanks,

Darrian

Getting my broom incase there is shenanigans.

I can't believe you guys let Darrian win. Do I have to move back to LA to stop him from winning all of the time?

By the way, I might be moving to Phoenix in May, so I will only be a 5 hour drive away and I can make my way over to LA every once and a while.

Let's be honest here, my winning percentage has gone up significantly since I ran you out of So Cal. Our gaming community definitely misses you, even if you do win too often.

I hear that Phoenix has a pretty strong 40K community, is that correct?

The game between Darrian and I came down to a single D6 roll to see which table quarter my Leman Russ was in. If I had won that roll we would have tied that game and Darrian Sergio may well have won the tournie instead (although you never know).

Of course if I got off my butt and painted up an Inquisitor with a Psychic Hood and some Mystics I probably would have had a fairly easy win (but again, you never know for sure).

It certainly was a fun game, although I think I failed at least 10 pinning checks on a Ld8.

So true. I had the most amazing luck in that game and Yakface made almost no pinning tests. My Librarian was a absolute nightmare for his Imperial guard.

I think the game was a little unbalanced, in that, Yakface brought a very nice and balanced list and I brought a tough SM list. Had he brought the Inquisitor my chances would have gone down dramatically.

Very fun game but a mission that my army does not shine in (Cleanse 2).

BTW, I did play Sergio (Frenrik) in the third round and I got a lucky draw.

I think I benefited most from luck in the third round by playing a Kroot army with High Grav in play for 5 turns. It was a cheap win, but let's face it, I'll take a cheap win.

@Lemurking, that makes up for the round 1 mission that had no infiltration. It all evens out.

BTW, thanks for coming.

That was a silly game with Darrian and yakface... Shame that every time I walked by Yackface rolled pretty badly. I'm like a culexus assasin with luck!

I definitely benefitted from you "bad luck aura" Mortetvie. Poor Yakface, I swear he failed almost all of his pinning checks.

Yeah. Interesting RTT that used some of the less used missions.

You should have pointed out some of the people to me Darrian. Remember I've been out of it for months.

About time you showed up again.

I heard you won an RTT and your army is all painted the same color, what is up with that?

You know marines. Blood Angel red spray paint is cheap.
