Meager efforts? Are you freaking crazy? Yours was one hell of a conversion, you should be proud of it. It looks wonderful and can go head to head with this one - and it would still come out looking cooler.

Ein, yours is great - if I owned it, there's no way I'd want to swap it for the GW version. And as everyone knows, all _real_ ork players always convert their characters

Uh guys, don't forget that once it's primed it will look nearly identical to the GW model. Nobody will recognize it. Nobody will appreciate your effort.

I'd feel like **** too if I converted a bunch of tau stuff to make 'em look cool and have FW come out with suits that look just like them 2 months later.

There goes all the work I was doing on my Zagstruk. Is this official? They're producing this?

My only comfort is that I was kind've close sort've. But damnit.

I really love this much more than my meager efforts. On the list of things Ein likes to do while converting, sculpting is at the very bottom rung, even below accidentally catching an xacto knife in the thumb.

Maybe I'll ebay mine and see what I get for it. I need to confirm that this is going to be a GW release before I do that, though.

I feel your pain man, and would be happy to take your model off your hands for 20$ or so. Least I could do, really.

Jamsessionein, somehow the hat on yours looks much less Rob Halford, if that's any consolation.

Nice model.

Are they gonna make plastic Stormboyz?

I'm digging the model.

I can see why some people don't like the hat. It just doesn't seem to fit with where the orks have gone, fluff wise.

Still, suprised it wasn't a first wave release. In saying that however a 2nd wave in 6 months of all the special characters to keep interest up would be a good idea.

Sure they may release a zagstuck, but look at it this way, yours will have a unique look and pose. Heck mine looks freaking sweet, and while he dosent look as profesional as the one they are making, unique is the heart of orkey converting anyway.

Just wanted to confirm a few things - I went back to Warhammer World today, and the eavy shoota chap is the kommandos eavy shoota.

It is also interesting to note that Zagstruk was no longer in the cabinet - draw your own conclusions from that, but it may be that he was not intended to be part of the display...

I'm digging the model. Pose is dynamic, follows the codex art fairly well. The base leaves a bit to be desired, but honestly that's to be expected if they want to pull off the KRUNCH of an impending landing. I really dig the look of his rokkit, gives a very WWII pacific coast bomber feel to the whole model. The only beef I have is the face. Seb has churned out some really nice stuff lately (and a little somewhat okay stuff) but I just don't feel some of his faces, they're a bit too broad for my tastes. That model with more of a Brian Nelson head would be the dead 'ard.

And Ein, it's got nothing on yours, seriously. Nazdreg claw feet are still the greatest thing since sliced bread, and the grot bomb backpack is made out of pure win (and resin). Those of us that follow your work like fanboys will all agree that the time and effort you put in was not in vain.

In that vein, if you still decide to ebay him, let me know

This is hilarious.
