That's not really an Ork FAQ problem so much as a general problem with vehicle rules in 4th edition 40K.

GW have rarely bothered to list the actual mounting for vehicle weapons. And even looking at the model doesn't always help (What are the fire arcs for the weapons on the DE Ravager...?)

Hopefully, they'll include slightly more complete vehicle rules in 5th edition.

Wether or not it belongs on an ork FAQ is not somthing we can decide logically, FAQ meens "frequently asked questions" and thus can be any question about what is in the ork codex that is asked enough times.
This meens FAQ's do not follow any rules as to what they may be about.

For vehicles arcs of fire are based on where the vehicle itself blocks LOS to the weapon, naturally this LOS is dependent on the placement of that weapon on the vehicle and thus it becomes important to know what the vehicle looks like.
Unlike ork vehicles the base design of all other vehicles are of standardised, even the chaos vehicles have a fixed base design, sponsons always in the same place.

Lets look at the chaos predator, it has a turret mounted autocannon (360') and may take side sponsons, additionally the model is "fixed" so that all predators will look the same when it comes to weapon placement.

If I modified my predator so that the sponsons were placed in turrets too I would in all probability still not be allowed 360' arc of fire in a tournament or even in a friendly one off game.

Looking at page 64 in the core book arcs of fire are covered, this sugests that it is upp to the ork vehicle designer what arc of fire each gun will have and thus they will all end upp in turrets wich meens they will all have 360' arcs of fire.
If this is intended then fine...

The Ravager that you mention has a standard design so as where it may initially be hard to define arcs of fire in your gaming group or for tournaments but once you have decided that will be true for all ravagers.
Pintle mounted weapons on an open topped vehicle gives them 360' arc of fire I belive but then again you could argue that the lances are fixed weapons giving them 90' arc to the front.
If GW ever release a 4th or even 5th edition DE codex (wich I hope they will) then I this may be cleared upp but still as all Ravagers are of the same design all Ravagers will work the same.

2 ork battlewagons in the same army however can be very varied in design and thus while one battlewagon weapons are all 360' the sibling may have all fixed front mounted...
If the intent is that it should be fluid than I would like an official FAQ state this so that if the issue arises I can simply point this out and get my full 360' arc of fire with all my guns (or point out to an oponent that as he has mounted all his rokkits on the back of his battlewagon they may not fire forward).

In short GW rulings are void!

I know this is very very late in the game, but the recent FAQ didn't answer this, and as far as I can tell neither will 5e: Can Bomb Squigs hit a walker who is currently fighting in close combat, as long as the tank bustas are not also engaged?

Does An ork mob that is hit with a neural shedder (callidus assasin) use their base LD for the toughness? Or can they choose to use the # of models in the horde?
