Because most people don't have means to defend themselves beyond their own bodies. They should aquire and become proficient with such things, by all means, but most people don't. I never understood why.

But... if you crush a man's windpipe... does it really matter how big he is? I mean, there's maybe the concern about reaching said windpipe, but that's rarely a factor, except in Midget and Giant fights, and those have been outlawed since Supreme Court Case Kirkpatrik vs. Polk 1934.

Personally I'm just amused by the general notion that "My weight and height automatically translates into toughness".

I'm 7'9", 576 lbs! All blubber! And when I get into a fight I take heavy or sharp objects and go for the throat!

Or possibly the eyes.

It sucks that this happened to you. I have had to call GW Customer Service a few times, and they have had outstanding customer service both times. I think Fedex will be paying for those bits

I ordered a replica assault rifle (airsoft) and FedEx delivered it to the wrong address! Whne I called they were like, yeah sorry, but its too bad, you'll have to go to the address and pick it up yourself!

I told them, actually you're the courier company, and you made the mistake, get round there and get it for me...oh, and by the way, you should know it contains a "firearm"!! It was with me the next day...go figure!

When little sissy boys bother me, I simply bend down and crush their puny little heads between my thumb and forefinger... like warm M&M's. They melt in my mouth but squish between my fingers.

talk with your rental office. Ask if they will receive packages when you are out.
If so, place a note on your door when you are expecting one.
Something like, "If you are delivering a package & I do not answer the door, please deliver it to the rental office."

April 1st, 2008 (April fools day, ftw)

The package arrived with all that I ordered included. I'm happy as hell it made it here, but not so happy it came to my address again. I had called GW customer service x3 times. Each time confirming they would be mailing to my parents place. There was potential to be stolen again. Luckily I was just waking up and could answer the door.

when i was younger and lived and in an apartment, fedex and ups would not deliver to apartment's without a signature. so i started leaving a sign on my door that they could leave it at the complex's office as there was always someone there to sign for me.
