I dunno if nobody has noticed, but you can actually station buildings the same way you station troops in the taken areas.
little arrows to the left/right make it possible

I'm not sure what you are talking about? Could you explain further?

I got back from the bush 2 days ago, found it in the computer games store (no idea it was out) bought it and played a campaign game and a half as tau vs orks and a skirmish as SOB.

I like the changes on the whole.

The faith system is great and really opens up alot of options.
The flyers do seem a bit of a waste. The Baracuda is great at hammering ork infantry, it was in the midst of a tau horde when I got into the enemy base so not sure how good vs buildings.

I've noticed the load times too.

I'm on a 2.6 P4 desktop with 2gb ram and 256mb 7600GS graphics card- in game runs beautifully but loading is around 20-40 seconds.

But of course.
You know, when you take over an enemy territory, you can post troops which will be available whenever you go back to that territory to defend it.
(I dont know exactly what the button says in the English Version)

So you klick on the Button to strengthen/ add troops to that territory and there are little arrows above the troops you can post. klick on the arrow and you can leave behind buildings as well. iirc there are only 4 buldings and 4 troop choices.

However, the forward base that flach is talking about is only unlocked if you play as sisters or have beaten them. It's their special ability.

Right. I misread what you typed. Sisters get to build a base when they attack a territory.

Man dark eldar are a hard army to get a hang of.

I've been skirmishing in different sized battlles with them and have been struggling as it takes so long to get the decent troops and vehicles (warriors die so quick)

Also having to send the slaves following your battle line so they can harvest souls is tricky, whilst your still trying to fight, but wait too long and no more souls to collect.

The whyches and archaon are brutal though.

Play them like you would play them on the tabletop - a raiding force. My bro absolutely bulldozed the campaign by just having a large honor guard and rushing the enemy bases, while researching and sending a few basic troops to cap points.

He even did this successfully in the large boss battles.
