I snatched a battle company from a dakka member (on this thread! Go detectives!) and it is a good deal for the money, even retail. Tactical squads are actually pretty cheap, so making as many special and heavy weapon troopers as you can (aside from the obvious wtfs like multimeltas) is a good use for the box and the comical numbers of special and heavy weapons that the box comes with. Then flesh out the ranks with regular tac squads and you can throw pretty much any combo you can imagine on the board.

My battle company is shaping up as the 5th company (renegade) Blood Ravens, with a plasma cannon/ gun setup in the tacticals, and 4 missile launcher devestators. And I have freaking stacks of heavy weapons left over.

Okay, change of direction.

Let's not talk me into buying it. It's like it's burning a hole in my wallet. I don't need another 100 SMs to put together, I am pretty sure I just more than that with my chaos army.
