Ok with the stompa 90% out of the way I need to turn my attention to my squiggoth....pics forth coming I built it about 2 years ago and need to update the howdah with two supa lobbas.

I really like the chainmail-skirt-looking effect. The rivets also help orkify the sawblade and face nicely.

I take it that's a lookout post above it's left shoulder?

It's a fuel tank for the scorcha that i will be bulding a platform onto at some point for a look out point. Thanks I like the old roman chianmail effect as well, It turned out better then I thought It would when I first went that direction.

Heh. I was going to call him Orktila da 'Un, myself - the chainmail effect looks great on him. Can't wait to see what you come up with for the Squiggoth.

How did you create that chainmail effect anyways? I really looks good. And are all those armor plates made from plasticard or something?

The bottom portion of the chian shirt was done useing a combination of old WH40k CCG cards and a textured toolbox lining and a bunch of 1/8 hole punched rivets, next I laid sqarish pieses of card and agian a ton of 1/8 hole punched rivets, for the top I then cut the textured lining in dags and laid it over the top. Thanks for the comments! still need to throw up some pics of my squiggoth........

I want too, I'm not ignoring this comment but I'm having a problem figuring out how: the problem is the arm tubes glued as they are will not allow any more thickness of the blade I had too cram the existing blade in.... maybe if I cut the pattern through the middle I could add some thickness.....

Ok hows this for fixing the thin blade on my stompa? By adding another thin blade it helps to create a more choppy overall look...what do you think?

Do a third blade on the inside...and personally I'd give the legs maybe an inch or two more in height.

Not so much that it looks like a kilt, and not so little so it still looks like a big fat man wearing a roman leather skirt.

Ok thrid blade in....looks alot more choppy...as for hight I think its allready pushing the envelope of being to big as you can see in the landraider gets chopped up pic.

Yep, the third blade really makes it work. Hey - I like the "extra armor" on that land raider - very inventive!
