Got legs assembled today and finished the shoulder armour.

I like the Pose of the Plastic terminator legs where you have the term turning and shooting.

want the same pose here so had to completely redo the legs and hip joint.

They are 0.75mm plasticard over a 1mm box. was going to use cups but they were too thin

I've got a question about the Reaver Titan: Where can i find the rules, as they're not in the Imperial Armour books (as far as im concerned)? Im thinking of scrathcing one myzelf but dont know where to find rules for it.

theres Apoc rules you can get at Bell Of Lost Souls (google it). AFAIK there are no "official" ones but most people seem to agree on BOLS as being the best out there.

having some trouble with the head, I would like to make a masked or cowled head instead of the standard Reaver face we all know and love.

Wanted something more like the cowled head on the mounted Nurgle priest from fantasy.
Slap on some nurgley horns and rotting chain link around the front.

i think thats a great idea, would scream NURGLE!.

also, have you thought aout using the tyranid scenery bits from the genestealer sprues? they are shaped like 3 round pustules.... perfect for nurgle.

I think I can help with the chain sword teeth. Get a 55 gallon plastic barrel and cut the teeth out of that, but do so with half going one way and half going the other. They will be ~1/8-1/4" thick, very rigid, and with a slight curve to them based on what direction they were cut (the barrel has a slight curve on this scale) when you arrange them on the sword, put the bottoms along the same line with alternating curves, which will make the tips of the teeth slightly off center like a real saw. You can easily shave them down to be sharp if you'd like, and it will look terribly rippy.

If you are looking for the barrels, they are often called "pickle barrels" because restaurants get bulk foods in them. There is a farm of sorts around here that sells them for trash cans for about 15-20$. You will get a LOT more plastic than you will probably want, but you can always find your local SCA chapter and sell what you don't use to some youngin' who needs to make cheap body armor (the stuff is tough, let me tell you!)

Still not sure of the head, my two choices are:

Reaver style head with single organic eye with pipes

or

half scale warlord head with cowl and chain link "mouth guard" also single eye

I went back to mine, seperated him at the waist so I can fix a rod in there so he can rotate and it makes it easier to transport (and a lot easier to paint).

Seeing his Chaos rival coming on in leaps and bounds is just the push I needed.

I like the changed head, it gets past the hassle of filling the empty eye sockets (why did lackof do that to the templates??).

Face-tentacles make everything better, buddy. Chop the snout off, and GS a bunch of nasty cthuloid tentacles.

Alternately, a skull-like snout dripping slime could work too.
