Got a bit fortunate today as the Warstore still has Battlewagon Bits. I was able to pick up several Eldar Missile Launchers and Vallejo is converting their game color line into airbrush colors. No need to mixing water and paints. I've found an airbrush is the easiest and quickest way to get a nice basecoat on some of the larger pieces-namely the War Walkers and jetbike canopies. Even the Warp Spiders work out well as they are mostly one color.

You want either a lot of dedicated assault elements, or a few counter-assault elements.

Interesting.
I looked at replacing the Wraithlord w/ 3 more WW w/ Missile Launchers and dropping the Guardian squad completely.
The updated rules really have me wondering about the viability of Eldar assault units. However, I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking about flanking. Scorpions would probably best suit what I'm trying to accomplish. I'm a little concerned about losing shooting effectiveness, however.

Cough.
!
Eldar Harlequins with Shrieker Cannons. Lose no shooting, no one shoots you...and you can assault.
Wraithlord w/ ML and BL + Farseer council on foot is a pita army to play against...especially with 30 Harlequins running around giving you the runs.
What do you shoot? Seer council? Harlie-no-see? BSLords? lol

I'm trying to stick to the theme of the deep strike/reserve/flank idea.
Interestingly enough, what you suggest I already use. Well, not 30 Harlies (only 6, but I actually have good results w/ the Shrieker Cannon). I can definitely see where you are going with that. I'm just trying to build something different with my Eldar right now.
But, until its' built, I can run what you've suggested (for the most part). For 5th, I'd still run one Autarch and then keep some scoring jetbike units in reserve to avoid getting shot up early in the game. Even Eldrad has great utility in 5th.
