This pic comes from the hardcover rulebook. It's part of the "here's a starting force from Black Reach, and here's how you expand on it." The Kanz are the current metal ones.

Nice, I had an ork force before, but will have to expand on it with those models. And get the new Codex, and then get a new Warboss, and Bikes and Battlewagon; Damn! Here we go again!

Is this going to be like the Genestealers from the Battle for McDonald's box ie. they're simplistic versions of a more detailed kit that's released later on.

In other words, are these Koptaz a simplistic version of the rumoured 'wave 2' Ork releases we're supposed to be getting, or will we just get a simplistic box (like when they used to release the stuff in the starter box separately like back in 2nd Ed).

I think they look great.

I think the whole box set will rock. It looks like every fig is actually usable.

Getting the kopta's in bulk like that is also about the only way I'd put them in a list

The box is worth it for the Koptas alone. The metal ones are $25 from GW and this box is supposed to be $50 so that is 2/3 of the cost of 3 Koptas alone plus all the other models and the mini rulebook. Even if they drop the mini rulebook it is still a steal as long as the models look good. I will definitely be getting one and if the models look as good as rumored I will get at least one more.

The boyz will join my Waaagh! currently in progress and the marines can go towards my 5E codex army which will likely be Salamanders or Iron Hands. Though I can probably just use my planned Dark Angels as Iron Hands since they will be painted pre-Heresy black so Salamanders will probably win out. Burny goodness

I think those koptas are gonna be a blast to paint up. The new design is quite cool. I was hoping that they would make them like the ones in the codex art.
