2 months later, 'you know that set you bought, well here's brand new models you should buy. That was cheap cus we wanted to get rid of old stock.'

However, if you're like me and don't mind the older stuff, then there no problem, and of course you also get to chuckle quietly at GW failig to get you to update and actually giving discount for once

Termi box and carni box just to name a few are far from "old Stock"

how right you are covenant i noticed all of the "amazing" space marine deals that are forthcoming all had a land raider in them, getting rid of the older stock so as when the new raider set comes out they won't have a bunch of old raiders no one wants

Thats because GW resculpts Space Marines like every week... every new SM models only have 7 days before becoming old stock

Actually I was hoping they'd resculpt Tau Firewarriors and Battlesuits... and Marines, I want them bigger!

Navarro, out of curiosity, do you order your stuff from the 'states?

I get my GW stuff at my local store (homem Azul in Alcantara), awesome chaps and they get preorders very fast and have a nice stock, besides I try to support them anyway I can. But for example things that are not carried by them like out of sprues plastic bitz or other ranges of minis I get a bit from everywere like theWarstore and battlefield berlin to name a few of the best. Oh and homem azul ships to all Portugal mate.
Price wise they follow GWUK and stock wise its the same, so no worries for spanish codex or rulebooks, its all in english just like it should be.
At the moment they are accepting preoders for apocalypse deals etc.

Someone above made a point about gas prices... did you know more than 60% of the price you pay at the pump is a federal tax? Yep. More than $2 of the almost $4 a gallon your paying is going to things like the 12 BILLION dollar research project in Texas that is studying frog mating.

In the interest of keeping the thread on topic I won't ask about the rest of your post, but I'm really going to need a cite for the $12 billion frog mating project.

“We may observe that the government in a civilized country is much more expensive than in a barbarous one; and when we say that one government is more expensive than another, it is the same as if we said that that one country is farther advanced in improvement than another. To say that the government is expensive and the people not oppressed is to say that the people are rich.”

Adam Smith, who must have been some kind of leftie or something.

The Chaos Terminator box interests me. It is nearly 50% off (US prices). If it is Direct Only it is still a very good deal if you need that many Terminators. I might be able to use 20 termies (I have 5 from the Army Deal), and the second Termie Lord would become a Sorcerer.

I might be getting that and the big box of bugs. That box is the embodiment of my experimental 1500 point Tyranid list that only uses the contents of two battleforces plus a third carnifex

At 2000 points it needs a Tyrant and another 6 Warriors with wings, but a 1500 point hoardy army for $180 is a good deal. And all bets are off if GW puts out plastic Gargoyles.

Guess I need to scrounge $270 plus the money for 2 new starter sets and the new big book.
