The corsairs and the cold ones are great, but the others I am not too sure about. pity that bitz ordering is dead, because the old cold one knights look much better, and trading the "fat cow" for these new cold ones would be a great upgrade.

Do the spearheads give you a slight discount for ordering in bulk? In the good old days of the army box, you effectively got something free for spending $200 - $300 IIRC...

As best I can tell - (from the US store) this Spearhead actually costs a bit more than the sum of the combined parts? Is that standard for the benefit of getting everything a couple of weeks early? Or is it just that my maths is out?

Does anyone know what comes in the Battalion box? I tried

Spearheads cost more because you're getting it early.

Army boxes seem to have gone the way of the dodo, except in some small cases =/

Remember the spearhead comes with the armybook as well. Dunno how much more the box costs than the model contents, I would think it costs the same and the book is 'free.'

By my count, if Lokhir is $12 and the new Hydra $40, then the spearhead is more than the cost of the miniatures and the book... ie no discount at all

And the new hydra is ok, from what I've seen so far I prefer over the old one (which is NOT too hard ). All the same I prefer more lizardy, lower center of gravity, less heads going UP and more going OUT, etc.

Well, the new Cold Ones no longer look slow so I guess thaey want have the Thorpe-style abitrary penalty anymore.
