I guess... Well. I dunno. Not a SERIOUS wound, but most pain I've been in, definately badly administered anaesthetic leading to a semi-conscious circumscision when I was 10.
Or when I was diving and dug a 3x1x.5 inch trench in my leg on a rock.

"And what is wrong with their life? What on earth is less reprehensible than the life of the Levovs?"
- American Pastoral, Philip Roth
Oh, Death was never enemy of ours!
We laughed at him, we leagued with him, old chum.
No soldier's paid to kick against His powers.
We laughed - knowing that better men would come,
And greater wars: when each proud fighter brags
He wars on Death, for lives; not men, for flags. |

when i was 5 i was riding a bus and we got broad sided mby a drunk
his car hit my bus like 2 feet from where i was sitting and i accedenally left some of my face on the metal seat in front of me
its all better now, but when your five and you look up after an accident to see blood and stuff covering the bar that just met your face, you get a bit worried
yeah it felt really good

I seriously can't beat any of these stories...
But I'll give it a dang good try!
1) Fifth grade. Got knocked over during a soccer game during gym class by a ball that hit me in the nuts. That wasn't fun, nor the worst part. I got knocked over into the goal post, which happened to have a rusty nail sticking out. Tetanus shot, five stitches and an awesome head wound that's covered by my hair.
2) Seventh grade. Some of the neighborhood kids were being slowed, throwing things around. Harmless stuff, PVC pipe etc. Piece of PVC hits a tree, splinters, and hits my cheek, going all the way through.
Result? Triangle shaped scar on the left side of my lip that is the exact match for what was a gaping wound that could have a finger stuck through it.
3) Also seventh grade. Was playing paintball with friends, slid in to bunker someone, hit a rock. Head in turn hit the bunker and busted open from the tree next to me. Result? Another awesome head wound covered by my hair =D
4)Seventh grade, AGAIN. That was a very bad year for wounds for me =P Was riding my bike down the hills near my house, it started raining. Braked to get the bike off the road because of a car coming up hill. Bike skids, and flings me off. End result? Got sent sailing a good fifteen, sixteen feet along the concrete, scraping the skin off my right shoulder to the bone. At least it wasn't a head wound!
5) High school--Was in Aerospace class, we were building model planes for an aerodynamics experiment. Was cutting the body of the plane, which was plastic, with a boxcutter. Knife slipped and cut my thumb open to the bone. Patched it up with superglue and then got to leave early to go to the ER. Result? Minimal scarring AND no blood loss due to superglue!
6)Car accident last year, on my way to college. Mexican in a construction company pick-up with metal pipes hit my car, pipe fell off and went into the car. Got a piece of it in my leg, which wasn't too badly injured thank God. He fled the scene and never got caught, even after I reported the tags.
And those are just the worst things...

Where to start? I once fell off a wall into rose bushes while wearing only shorts, I was attacked by an entire hive of fire ants which stung me everywhere, I did a triple-360 out of a moving truck onto my head in a parking lot, I've been struck by lightning and once a scared cat dug all twenty of its claws into my arm and would not let go until I struck it in the head with a rock. This is why I didn't contribute to the thread about modelling mishaps, because the few cuts I've got with an Xacto knife were trivial compared to the other stuff I've been through. Oh, and did I mention that I'm totally clumsy and have banged my head on so many things that now it doesn't even phase me?

i've busted my head open 3 times in 1.5 years, scratched my head all over by falling into rose bushes head first, and in 4th grade I was on my roof and i fell off. i was going down on my back but i got into a sitting position. Good thing too, if i had landed lying down my spinal cord would have been shattered by a cinder block. All that happened to me was the air getting knocked out of me. One time my friend who was in 1st grade got half his pinky off by his teacher slamming a door on his pinky on "accident". One more good reason to hate teachers.

*pft* Cancer? Big Woop. (looks though rest of the topic) Nevermind. You won.
Waaagh, don't forget your awesome break dancing injury.
Grey_Death, there is a wound in your front and the back. Is that the entry and exit?
Mine were rather mellow.
Stabbed in the back of the hand with a pencil. Kid who did it laughed. Still have a scar and slight discoloration in the scar.
Lived in Germany on base housing, playing inside on rainy day. Walked in from porch, tripped over step, fell and hit eyebrow (barely 1 inch from eye) on corner of coffee table. Got some stitches and still have the scar. Have another scar on opposite side, but no idea where it came from.
Playing Basketball during lunch in HS. Guy faked a shot, went up toward him, he put his arm up to fend me off. His forearm nailed me in the mouth which was open at the time. All my front teeth (upper and lower) were inbedded on the inside of my lipps, upper and lower respectively. Went to the nurse and she peeled my lips open and went pale. I looked at it in the mirror and perfect inprints.
The best one for me was when we lived in Cali. We were at a used car lot and I ran to show my dad something and tripped. Did I mention that the lot was all gravel. Tore up new pants (that was what my dad was mad about) and my whole knee cap area was ground beef. Dad had me on the bathroom sink with water, rags and tweesers pulling out bits of rock. After cleaning it up, mom asked what that white thing was. My knee cap minus the flesh. You could see through a hole about the size of an eraser tip. Mom passed out. Still have no feeling in the fleshy are around my knee. Should have been taken to the hospital, but I WAS A MAN! At least what is what my daddy kept saying.
I was working nights, got a call from wife. Daughter was in ER. Went down to wee what was going on. My daughter was supporting herself up on the back of two chairs. Swung herself and fell forward onto her chin. Started bleeding and needed stitches. I was in the room with daughter and held her while they were stitching her up. Before they stitched her, they pulled it open to see if there was anything inside of the wound. I never realized how streachy human skin really is. Looked away before I started to laugh and they thought I was going to pass out. Gorrilla of a nurse grabbed me to make sure I didn't fall on the floor. Daughter asked why daddy needed a hug.

My injuries are minor compared to the ones on this forum but...
I have 2 scars on my left thumb. One from an accident with a stapler (don't ask). The other from a screwdriver when I was trying to unscrew my toy piano...
One little scar on my torso. I was leaving my bedroom to go into the shower, I had only a towel on. I cut myself on my sharp door handle...
I also have one scar on my right shin that I'm not to sure about, probably from messing about.
Finally I whacked my head off my banister and ended up with a lump the size of a golf ball. Did no lasting damage but it hurt like hell...
