I think you are being overly literal here Bla_Ze. In the same paragraph that they tell us to remove the unit from the table they tell us to make all measurements involving the unit from the hull of the transport. It's not like the unit ceases to exist. They can claim objectives even. Therefore, they are "on the table" in the sense that we know where they are. That's all that matters.


I think you need to stop applying the 4th edition to the new rules. They've made changes. In this case changes that make a LOT more sense.

There's precedent in the Ork FAQ for "passive" psychic abilities to be used on the embarked squad:

Warpath: Applies as normal to the embarked unit.
'Ere we go: Applies as normal to the embarked unit. no effect on the vehicle.
Waaagh!: Applies as normal.


And the two "shooting" style powers "following the normal rules for passengers firing."

Trust me, with some of the rumoured new psychic SM abilities and LRs being nigh invincible, I'd rather that you couldn't use psychic powers from a transport...
