I think that if I ever lost my IG which I have put so much effort and time into, I would be heart broken, but I still would pick the hobby pack up again. I have to much creative energy to let it go to waste and GW is my favorite way to express that energy.

Back when I was going to College, I was hurting for money and had to sell off my 2nd edition Dark Angels. I was out of the game for a few years. When I finally got a decent paying job I started a 3rd ed BA army. While this isn't a "your army was demolished" scenario, the experience is similar. Now if that happened again I would start a new army, Chaos daemons maybe or Nids.

If I lost my army, my reaction would probably be "Hey, they needed to be repainted anyways." (except for like, my Dreadnought and a couple of converted inquisitors)

I'm making a marine army for Adepticon, if that got stolen I would ... make a new army.

If my Eldar got stolen I would ... make a new Eldar army. Probably led by Asurmen and Shining Spears.

If my Lizards got stolen I would ... probably never play Fantasy again. Unless I got the urge.

If my Everblight got stolen I would ... play Circle.

First I would be very sad.

Then I would start a different army (or if it was the same army, a sort of "re-imagining" of it, so to speak), or maybe even an army for a different system.

Most likely something historical, other than GW.

I'd rebuild my orks. Orks are what have kept me in the game for 11+ years now.

I wouldn't rebuild my tau. I enjoyed playing that army for a couple years, but now I'm considering selling it - just no interest in it anymore.

Probably start up a CSM force, slannesh themed which is my latest interest. Or a deathwing force which I've always been interested in.

I wouldn't rebuild either of my Fantasy armies - I have too little playing time with them as it is (5 games during 6th ed, 3 games under 7th...).

Me, I'd rebuild it, exactly the same if possible. Down to individual named troopers and vehicles, as well as my memory allows.

I'd rebuild my Thousand Sons, my Dark Elves, maybe my Magnus Agenda, then go all out on AT-43.

I voted for the last one because I've already collected about 2000pts for 2 other armies I want to do & just haven't made the time to make an ernest attemp @

I have 3000 pts of Dark Angels.... 2000 points of night goblins, 2000 points of Broketonnians and a 1000 points of Uruk - Hai, I would probably rebuild my emo marines and then get dwarves, Easterlings, and hopefully get an army of 6mm Napoleanics as well as 500 dollars worth of Flames of War. I would love to do Ancient stuff but no one plays that where I live.

I'd probably start a new army, although ti would be tempting to rebuild my vietnam themed IG light infantry as a horribly battle scarred/damaged Vietnam themed IG light infantry, completed with eye patches, bandages and illegitimate xenos babies (sorry, just got done watching casualties of war)

I skipped 3rd edition entirely after my Space Wolves army was essentially deleted. Then I came back for 4th edition because I enjoy the hobby to much, but I started Guard. It is hard from them to wreck Guard since it has been gimped from the outset.
