"5 minutes and a roll on the floor later"

I started playing fantasy with the battle for skull pass set. I wasn't looking and set my arm down on one of the dead goblins I removed. When went to look at what had poked my arm I found a night goblin spearmen with his entire spear head embedded in forearm...

As for the cutting part, I do use a diabetic prick to get some blood for my khorne models. The shade of red just looks cooler.

Forever alone

Once my friend was staying at my house for the night (last year I think) and he'd been assembling his Night Goblin spearmen. First thing I felt when I got out of bed was twenty pointy spears impaling my toes.
Edit: it seems a lot of people have the same curse. It's happened to most of the Orc FB players at the FLG.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

I got to the phone in time, but all they heard was, "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH !!!!!!!!" as I yanked the paintbrush out.

Interesting how blood has a decidedly metallic taste to it.

Oh, my dear God! I don't know if it is the fact that I drove for 10 straight hours or what, but that has got to be the hands down funniest thing I have ever read! I almost pee'ed a little.

I have to raise my hand about the DE thing. Stupid, spikey plastics found some way to imbed in my hand. Even had someone say that every time I play my DE at my LGS, I bleed a little.

I think I'm going to start a charity for the terminally stupid. You can be our spokes person. -- H.B.M.C.

Well guys I never cease to amaze myself after I post this I decided to work on my Nurgle tank and wanted a little worn detail and I usually use the point of a hobby knife. Well the blade was dull so I was changing it and I had the blade off and I was sifting through my bits (where I keep my drill bits and blades in as well) and when I found the right compartment I hadn't seen the little container I keep my blades in was open, Blindly sifting my hand through I feel lots of pain and took my hand out (BAD MOVE) when I took my hand out I found 7 hobby knife blades sticking out of my hand. OUCH!

Cityfight scenery wins hands down everytime. Everytime we get that out to use, OUCH!, spike in the finger, hand, arm. I've lost count of how many times I've seen a gamer with a red welt up his arm I never question line of sight, cos there's no way I'm getting my eyes THAT close to the board I'm amazed no child has been impaled yet with the net result of mum & dad suing them.

Live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Trouble no one about his religion. Respect others in their views and demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life. Beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and of service to your people. When your time comes to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song, and die like a hero going home.

London (work) / Pompey (live, from time to time)

managed to cut myself with an ork power klaw, no idea how lol
and on the same model (was drunk at the time) managed to glue his base to my finger, when i pulled it off i lost the ridges off of my finger tip XD

Note: do not put models together when drunk, it results in injury most of the time, also, do not annoy your GF when she is near your models, an ork in mega armour may not look strong, but when thrown at you it will leave a mark

one again, same model :K

When I was 12 I got the 2nd ed. 40K box set for xmas, and by the time the humble chicken had roasted I had already stepped barefoot on 20 Space Orks and their decidedly prickly helmets.

Also, I had a friend who glued his hands together, to the extent that his mother had to spoon feed him for the rest of the day. We live, and we learn.

I really should be spending my time more constructively.

I bled plenty on my newest battlewagon.

when you're working with razorblades, sharp broken pieces of plasticard, pins, drill bits, etc its amazing if you're not suffering atleast minor damage

Sounds like you might want to read up a little here.

That aside, I don't use exacto / hobby knives anymore. I use scalpels. It just seems like I should be using the right tool for the job. That and they leave clean cuts that heal well.

So its not just blood for the blood god but also spreading disease for grandpa nurgle , its a two for one sale!

(Disclaimer: despite my joking around, AIDS and other bloodborne diseases are really dangerous, please do not paint your marines wether khornite or nurgleite with real blood to keep your fellow hobbyists save. No your gloss finish is not keeping the bacteria locked inside. Its bad, don't do it! )

1. blood dosen't contain bacteria 2. the only way you would catch a blood borne diesase is from licking the model which i don't think too many people do anyway

If you've not seen it before, then our wargaming injuries article chronicles some of the more amusing (and severe) injuries from wargaming. The superglue-disolves-contact lenses story is still the worst though (probably), though Ghidorah, your tongue piercing sounds like it was great fun too!
